When a pregnant mother has to end the life of her belly, the feeling is almost indescribable. Abortion is divided into medical abortion and surgical abortion. No matter which abortion method is used, it will cause great harm to women's bodies. The process of medical abortion will also experience some pain. So, do you understand the details of the medical abortion process?

Personal experience of the medical abortion process

On the day of medical abortion, pregnant women are generally required to undergo B-ultrasound and other examinations to more accurately determine whether they are suitable for medical abortion.

Some pregnant mothers also shared their personal experience of the medical abortion process with everyone: "After doing B-ultrasound and his examination, the doctor will ask you to prescribe some medical abortion drugs, one is a small box of 6 tablets, and the other is a small box of 3 tablets. First, take the 6-tablet box of medicine, 2 tablets in the morning, 2 tablets at noon, and take it on an empty stomach for two days. After taking it, you can't eat within 2 hours. On the third day, you need to take the 3-tablet box of medicine, take 2 tablets first. If you don't have nausea, you need to take the remaining 1 tablet. If you vomit, take another tablet after 15 minutes. About 6 hours after taking the medicine, you will find that the gestational sac has been discharged. If there is little bleeding that day, the doctor will let you go home."

After doing medical abortion, you need to go to the hospital for a follow-up examination according to the doctor's instructions to check for other complications after medical abortion.

The best time for medical abortion

However, there are time requirements for medical abortion. If you want to have a medical abortion, it is recommended to do it in the early stages of pregnancy, about within 49 days, and avoid exceeding 3 months. Since the early pregnancy is the embryonic stage of fetal development and the tissues in the uterine cavity are relatively simple, medical abortion will be safer, and recovery will be better after medical abortion.

The whole process of medical abortion

1. First, the doctor must determine whether the patient is suitable for medical abortion. Understand the patient's medical history, conduct systemic and gynecological examinations on the patient, including urine pregnancy test, leucorrhea cleanliness, trichomonas and fungi, blood routine test and blood type, and perform B-ultrasound examination when necessary.

2. After the patient meets the criteria for medical abortion, the doctor must explain to the patient in detail the efficacy of the medicine, how to use the medicine, how much to use it, and the possible side effects of taking the medicine. After the patient is willing, the doctor gives the medicine to the patient.

3. If the patient took mifepristone orally in the past few days, it is best not to eat for 1 hour after taking the medicine. When taking Mifepristone, the side effects are mild and most women do not feel anything. After taking the medicine, you can go home and continue to work. A few people may experience mild dizziness, abdominal pain, and a small amount of vaginal bleeding. Note: A small number of women (4%-5%) will expel a gestational sac by taking miso only. If the bleeding is slight, the excrement can be collected and stored in a clean bottle and taken to the hospital for a physical examination on the third day (the day when miso was originally scheduled to be taken). If the bleeding is heavy, the excrement should be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment first.

4. Take misoprostcycline on the third day. Avoid eating for two hours before and after taking the medicine. After taking misoprostcycline, about 70% of people will expel the gestational sac within 4-6 hours. It is best to stay in the hospital during this period and have the doctor observe the bleeding, abdominal pain, and discharge during this period.
