Post-pregnancy check-up schedule

Post-pregnancy check-up schedule

Prenatal check-up items refer to the examination items that need to be done during pregnancy. Pregnant mothers have to go through many examination items from the first month of pregnancy to delivery. Some are routine examinations, and some require regular maintenance. They mainly include the following examination items: height, weight, accurate measurement of blood pressure, fetal abdominal circumference, gynecological internal examination, breast examination, external pelvic measurement, blood form, anemia test, electrocardiogram test, syphilis blood cell reaction test, etc. There are different examination items at different stages, which will be described in detail in the original text before release.

The cost of prenatal check-ups refers to the cost of various tests during pregnancy. Since the tests will cover the entire pregnancy period, different items at different stages have fees. However, some hospitals also offer packaged tests during pregnancy, and the cost is about 1,000 yuan. Of course, you can also choose different test consumption methods according to your own situation.

Check-up items during pregnancy

Examinations during pregnancy are mainly divided into three stages: early pregnancy, mid-pregnancy and late pregnancy, and each of these three stages involves different examination items.

In the early stages of pregnancy, that is, from the 1st to the 12th week of pregnancy, the main tasks include: blood pressure B-ultrasound examination, which can rule out ectopic pregnancy, observe the growth and development of the fetus, and accurately measure the size of the fetus; blood examination to see if there are pathogens that cause intrauterine infection, mainly to see if there has been infection with rubella virus, cytomegalovirus, toxoplasmosis, herpes simplex virus, etc.; additional screening for hepatitis B virus can cut off mother-to-child transmission of the virus as soon as possible; weight-bearing blood and urine examination to check for anemia, blood diseases and urogenital system diseases.

In the second trimester, which is the 13th to 27th week of pregnancy, the main things to do are: a color B-ultrasound examination at around 22 weeks of pregnancy, which can fully grasp the growth and development of the fetus in the uterine cavity and rule out fetal malformations; blood sugar screening at 24-28 weeks of pregnancy. If the screen is positive, a further glucose tolerance test is needed to detect pregnancy-related diabetes as soon as possible and whether the patient has gestational diabetes; MP measurement should be performed at 20 weeks of pregnancy to predict whether there is a tendency of gestational hypertension syndrome; Down syndrome (congenital deformity) screening is performed at 16-20 weeks of pregnancy.

In the late pregnancy, that is, the full delivery at the 28th week of pregnancy, the main things are: fetal monitoring with a fetal electrocardiogram monitor starting from the 32nd week, it is best to do the test once a week, which can observe and record the changes in the fetal heart rate, and can also predict the fetal intrauterine reserve capacity; umbilical cord blood flow test, which can test the umbilical cord blood flow resistance of the fetus and understand whether there is intrauterine hypoxia; additional B-ultrasound examination, which can understand the maturity of the placenta, the amount of amniotic fluid and the development of the fetus; weight at 36 weeks to carry out blood form, four coagulation items, renal function, and liver function tests, which are to prepare for delivery.

Pregnancy check-up schedule

Prenatal check-ups are very important for the health of pregnant mothers and fetuses. Knowing your health status at any time can reduce the occurrence of various pregnancy risks. Let's take a look at the prenatal check-up schedule that pregnant mothers cannot miss.

Prenatal checkup during 5 to 6 weeks of pregnancy

Do an ultrasound examination, which can show the location of the fetal sac in the uterus. If it is not seen, it is suspected that there is a possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

Prenatal checkup during 6 to 8 weeks of pregnancy

Do an ultrasound to see the embryo tissue in the fetal sac. If the fetal heartbeat can be seen, it means that the fetus is currently in normal condition.

Prenatal checkup during 9 to 11 weeks of pregnancy

Chorionic villus sampling (CVS). If a pregnant woman has a genetic disease, chorionic villus sampling (CVS) should be done within this time frame. However, it should be noted that this test may cause miscarriage in pregnant women and injury to the fetus, so you must carefully follow the doctor's advice before doing it.
