Cervical CIN1 is a mild squamous intraepithelial neoplasia. Most women will not have obvious active symptoms. According to examination and diagnosis, some women show symptoms of introverted cervicitis, but many women do not have enough knowledge about the disease. Only by understanding the disease in daily life can they better protect their own health. So, does cervical CIN1 require surgery? CIN is the abbreviation of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, which is a group of precancerous lesions closely related to cervical cancer. Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is divided into 3 grades: Grade I: mild intestinal metaplasia. Grade II: Mild to moderate intestinal metaplasia. Grade III: moderate to severe intestinal metaplasia (carcinoma in situ). If CINI: test for HPV. If HPV (-), follow-up or anti-inflammatory treatment can be given. If it is HPV (), especially high-risk type (+), it needs to be treated actively. Suffering from CIN does not necessarily develop into cervical cancer in the future. It should be said that 3/4 of patients will not even develop it further, only a very small number of patients will develop it further, and a very small number of them will develop lesions. We have plenty of time to treat precancerous lesions. For CINI and II, physical therapy is sufficient, but for CINIII, surgical treatment is necessary, specifically at least cone biopsy. For patients who undergo cone biopsy, there are two purposes: one is to confirm the diagnosis of hidden cervical cancer; the other is treatment. For true CINIII, cone biopsy is sufficient and has no effect on fertility. What is cervical erosion? Cervical erosion refers to the deviation of the squamous epithelium on the outside of the cervical opening and the columnar epithelial cells on the inside of the cervix at the intersection. Cervical erosion is a normal physiological phenomenon caused by growth hormone. Because the color of the female cervix is red and it looks like erosion like eczema, this condition is called "cervical erosion". In fact, there is no real erosion there. It is just that due to the influence of growth hormone, the squamous epithelium on the outside of the cervical os and the columnar epithelium on the inside of the cervix are displaced at the junction. Since the columnar epithelium is thinner, the blood vessels underneath are often exposed when more columnar epithelium is exposed, making the area appear reddish. |
