What are the reasons why women cannot get pregnant?

What are the reasons why women cannot get pregnant? There are many reasons why women cannot conceive, and we cannot generalize. In many cases, we don't know why we have such a reason. Only by checking it clearly can we understand the reason. Let’s take a look at the reasons why women cannot get pregnant.

1. Vaginal factors can cause infertility: such as ruptured vaginal septum, congenital absence of vagina and other developmental malformations, which can hinder the couple's sexual life; in case of trichomoniasis vaginitis, a large number of white blood cells can swallow sperm, reduce sperm motility, shorten its survival time and affect pregnancy.

2. Male causes account for about one-third: affecting the conversion of male sperm, such as congenital testicular maldevelopment, non-hereditary inflammation, varicocele, etc.

3. Infertility caused by uterine factors: accounting for about 10% to 15% of infertility. A normal uterus is tilted forward and the cervix is backward. After sexual intercourse, the cervix is immersed in semen, which is conducive to pregnancy. If the uterus is retroverted or bent, causing the cervix to move forward and upward, it may affect pregnancy.

4. Infertility caused by cervical factors: It is the key cause of infertility, accounting for about 10% to 20% of infertility. During ovulation, the external cervical opening enlarges from 1mm in diameter after menstruation to 3mm. Cervical mucus increases during ovulation, and the cervical mucus may become thick or contain a large number of white blood cells, which is not conducive to the activity and passage of sperm and may affect pregnancy. In addition, cervical polyps or cervical fibroids can block the cervical canal and affect the passage of sperm. A narrow cervical opening may also be the cause of infertility.

5. Bilateral fallopian tube factors cause infertility: Fallopian tube adhesions cause fallopian tube obstruction, preventing the egg cell and sperm from meeting and causing infertility. Pelvic endometriosis can also cause fallopian tube adhesions and distortion, leading to infertility.

There are so many reasons why women cannot get pregnant. It is not that complicated, but it is not easy to say it is simple either. Pregnancy is a big thing for women. If we don't pay attention to it, we will only worry when the problem becomes serious. If we want to treat it at that time, the problem will become more serious.
