Bleeding after menstruation

Bleeding after menstruation

Some women may have regular menstrual periods, but suddenly find that bleeding occurs a few days after the menstrual period. For this kind of situation, many women are confused and don't know what factors cause it and how to solve it. So, why is there blood a few days after the menstrual period?

1. Blockage occurred during menstruation. If a woman has bleeding after her menstrual period, but the amount is not too much, it may be because the menstrual discharge is not smooth, and the menstrual blood has been deposited in the woman's uterus for a long time.

2. The menstrual period has not ended. Some women do not bleed again after their menstrual period, but their menstrual period itself may not be over, but in the first few days, the amount is relatively small. This situation is a relatively normal physiological manifestation.

3. Cause gynecological diseases. If a woman has uterine fibroids, cervicitis, cervical erosion, endometritis and other conditions, it is also very easy to bleed after menstruation. She needs to go to the hospital for a physical examination and receive treatment immediately.

4. Luteal insufficiency. If a woman has luteal insufficiency, it will cause poor development of the uterine wall and cause postmenstrual bleeding.

5. A contraceptive ring was used. Many women wear an IUD after giving birth for the purpose of contraception. If this type of contraceptive ring is not placed properly, it can easily cause unclean menstrual bleeding, and the contraceptive ring needs to be removed or reset.

Clinical symptoms of postmenstrual bleeding

It usually occurs on the 12th to 16th day of a regular menstrual cycle, usually lasts for a few hours or 2 to 3 days, not more than 7 days, the amount is significantly lower than normal menstrual bleeding, and the bleeding can stop on its own. It may be accompanied by mild lower abdominal discomfort or waist pain, or there may be no discomfort. Sometimes it occurs from one menstrual cycle to the next, and some people may persist for a long time, with ovulation bleeding occurring in 4 to 5 menstrual cycles.
