A small pimple on the labia

A small pimple on the labia

Genital warts are a very common disease nowadays. This disease has a great impact on the daily life of patients. According to the survey, many people are still not very familiar with this disease. So what is the matter with many small bumps on the labia?

What is the reason for a lot of small bumps on the labia?

1. Hidden warm warts on the vulva

There are other possibilities for small bumps on the vulva: one is caused by human papillomavirus infection, which is called genital warts; the other is caused by common Trichomonas vaginitis, which is called pseudo-condyloma because the leucorrhea has a peculiar smell and is irritating. Pseudo-condyloma is a very common private manifestation, which manifests as velvety or villous protrusions on the inner side of the labia, which may be light pink or slightly transparent, caviar-like, and relatively uniform in size, with no active symptoms.

Female vulva pimples may be latent vulvar warts, which mainly occur in healthy, young women, and many of them are still single. A survey of 1,175 healthy female employees in Nanjing was conducted, and 231 of them had pseudocondyloma, with an incidence rate of 20%. It is not difficult to see the objectivity of this disease, but I would like to remind you that latent warts do not affect the endocrine system, nor are they sexually transmitted diseases, and generally do not require treatment.

2. Vulvar inflammation

Another possibility for small bumps on the vulva is vulvitis: it is caused by a large amount of secretions irritating the skin of the vulva. In daily life, because the vulva is easily contaminated with urine, excrement, and secretions, the private skin is often in a humid environment, which is suitable for the growth of bacteria. At this time, if the private skin is scratched, or if hygiene is not taken seriously, or if the body's immunity is weakened, the hair follicles and surrounding tissues may be infected by staphylococci and other bacteria, which may cause local vulvitis.

3. Vestibular gland cyst

Small bumps on the vulva may be vestibular gland cysts. The entrance and exit of the greater vestibular glands are located on the inner side of the labia, and bacteria can easily invade and cause inflammation.

Warm reminder: Generally, bacteria first invade the epithelial cells of the Bartholin's gland ducts, causing swelling of the mucosa, or causing cervical adhesions after the branch duct tissue is destroyed, resulting in branch duct obstruction. Secretions cannot be discharged, resulting in Bartholin's gland swelling. It is often unilateral and varies in size. It may also be an early manifestation of vulvar inflammation.
