The fallopian tube was originally unobstructed but became blocked after angiography.

Uterine bilateral fallopian tube disease is one of the common causes of female infertility. The diagnosis of the patency of bilateral fallopian tubes is particularly important in the diagnosis of infertility. Radiography can accurately diagnose the patency of both fallopian tubes and has become the main method for examining both fallopian tubes.

To screen the causes of female infertility, it is best to avoid hysteroscopy. Many women are worried about the harm of hysteroscopy to the body. Reliably speaking, the harm of hysteroscopy to the body is very small, and the radiation generated during the hysteroscopy process is insignificant compared to the treatment.

Why are both fallopian tubes blocked after angiography?

As an auxiliary treatment method for infertility, angiography can not only detect problems with the bilateral fallopian tubes, but also has a certain therapeutic effect on the blockage of the bilateral fallopian tubes. Some patients became pregnant successfully after the angiography examination. However, for some patients, the fallopian tubes on both sides were only slightly blocked. After examination, not only did they not receive corresponding treatment, but the blockage became even more severe. So what is this due to?

What causes blocked fallopian tubes after examination?

1. No antibiotics were taken after the angiography examination. Because there will be a small amount of bleeding in the vagina after the examination, and usually abdominal discomfort will occur two or three days after the operation, you need to take some antibiotics to avoid inflammation and infection.

2. Inflammation caused by premature sexual intercourse. Sexual intercourse should be strictly prohibited for at least two weeks after the angiography examination. If you have sexual intercourse too early, it will cause inflammation, which will increase the blockage of both fallopian tubes.

3. Use a sitz bath. You cannot take a sitz bath within a short period of time after an interventional examination. You should take a bath with running water. Sitz baths contain more germs, which can easily enter the body and increase the risk of infection.

4. Improper diet. After the contrast examination, you should pay attention to eating a light diet and avoid eating raw, cold or irritating foods. You should also drink enough water to help the body's metabolism and eliminate the contrast agent as soon as possible.
