Nowadays, women find a kind of auxiliary inspection equipment when they undergo gynecological examination, which we call vaginal dilator. Many women are not familiar with this testing equipment, so they are afraid when taking the test. So, how do you operate a vaginal dilator during a gynecological examination? The following is a relatively detailed introduction to the relevant professional knowledge.

Before we introduce the operation of the vaginal dilator in detail, let us first introduce what a vaginal dilator is. The vaginal dilator, also known as the vaginodilator, is made of metal composite materials and has developed over time. The materials of today's vaginal dilators have changed to a certain extent. It is mainly used for general examination of female gynecological diseases.

The operation of the vaginal dilator is mainly divided into the following steps:

Process 1: During the examination, the doctor should first put on sterile gloves and hold the vaginal dilator in one hand. Then the doctor will use force and gently separate the operator's labia minora to fully expose the woman's vagina.

Process 2: After the vagina is separated, a vaginal dilator may be inserted along the vagina. Mainly, slowly push the vaginal dilator along the vagina, with the longitudinal line and the diameter of the dilator at zero angle, and then slowly separate the left and right leaves of the vulva.

Step 3: After observing the vaginal wall and other tissues, gently and slowly remove the dilator from the vagina. Be careful not to damage or touch the surrounding soft tissue during this process. Generally, after removing the vaginal dilator, the doctor will gently massage the patient's private parts for a while.
