As we all know, regular blood donation can enhance bone marrow hematopoiesis, reduce blood viscosity, prevent cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and reduce the incidence of cancer in men. From the perspective of saving other people's lives, blood donors can also gain comfort from it, making their lives more fulfilling.

The human body of a blood donor needs to meet ten requirements

1. Age: 18-55 years old or above.

2. Weight: Men over 50Kg, women over 45Kg.

3. Blood pressure: systolic pressure 90-140, diastolic pressure 60-90.

4. Pulse rate: 60-100 beats/minute, 50 beats/minute for athletes with high physical strength.

5. Normal body temperature: not higher than 37.5℃.

6. Skin: No jaundice, no wound infection, no large-scale skin disease, and no significant swelling of superficial lymph nodes.

7. There are no serious symptoms on the facial features, no yellowing of the sclera, and no swelling of the thyroid cyst.

8. There is no serious disability of the limbs, no serious functional impairment and no swelling of the joints.

9. Chest: Cardiopulmonary functions are normal.

10. Abdomen: The abdomen is flat and soft, without lumps or tenderness, and the liver and spleen are not swollen.

What should you pay attention to after donating blood?

1. Maintain the puncture site well. Press gently for more than 5 minutes after donating blood. Avoid rubbing the needle hole. If there is bleeding at the blood collection site, raise the arm and apply pressure. Please consult a doctor if necessary. 2. If you feel dizzy, nauseous, panicky, dizzy or other discomfort, inform medical staff immediately. 3. Drink plenty of water and eat a small amount of food within 4 hours after donating blood. Do not smoke or drink within 30 minutes. 4. Do not lift or hold objects with the arm used to draw blood within 24 hours. 5. The activity should be appropriate. On the day of blood donation, you do not need to work at high altitudes, perform high-temperature operations, drive a car, or participate in sports competitions. 6. Get enough rest and don’t stay up late. 7. Maintain a normal diet, do not eat too much, and avoid overeating or drinking to avoid affecting the stomach. 8. Keep the area around the needle eye clean and there is no need to soak the needle eye within two days.
