Feeling like having a stomachache in early pregnancy

Feeling like having a stomachache in early pregnancy

The time when mothers are pregnant with their babies is a very difficult process. Some mothers ask, why do they always feel diarrhea when they are pregnant? Is this feeling normal?

1. Everything is normal

There is no feeling of diarrhea in the early stages of pregnancy. The first thing that occurs during pregnancy is amenorrhea. After taking the medicine, the body's human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) increases, gastric juice secretion decreases, and gastric emptying time increases. A series of reactions will occur, such as dizziness, weakness in the limbs, loss of appetite, preference for sour foods or aversion to greasy foods, nausea, and vomiting in the morning. The feeling of diarrhea is normal uterine contraction in early pregnancy. This feeling may also occur in the late stages of pregnancy, because the baby's head presses against the bladder, which can easily lead to the feeling of urinating and defecating. If you feel diarrhea, it may be caused by the normal growth and development of the fetus compressing the abdomen.

2. Intestinal flora imbalance or cold

The mother's body may catch a cold or have a poor diet, which may also cause diarrhea! It is recommended that mothers take a rest actively and pay attention to local hygiene. At the same time, it is recommended to pay attention to eating less cold and spicy food, and consider that moderate walking can help improve appetite.

3. Data signals of risk

If mothers do have a long-term feeling of diarrhea, they can't take chances. Although pregnancy itself rarely causes diarrhea and will not aggravate existing diarrhea, diarrhea is a dangerous signal for pregnancy, indicating the possibility of miscarriage or premature birth, so it should not be ignored. The main treatment measure is appropriate fluid infusion to replenish the water and electrolyte solutions lost due to diarrhea, especially potassium ions, and replenish the calories lost due to diarrhea. At the same time, closely observe whether the fetus is in good condition and whether there are any signs of premature birth or miscarriage. Unlike ordinary people, pregnant women should be very cautious when using antibiotics. In addition to side effects, many common antibiotics and antiparasitic drugs also have potential risks of fetal malformations.
