Pregnant woman has stomach pain but no blood

During pregnancy, the human body may experience many unusual symptoms, such as frequent urination, incomplete urination, and breast swelling. Pregnant mothers are more cautious. They don't know whether these symptoms are normal pregnancy reactions and worry that there is something wrong with the baby. In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women need to be careful and alert if they experience abdominal pain.

It could be a normal reaction, or it could be a threatened miscarriage. During pregnancy, the uterus will expand due to the expansion of the gestational sac, involving the cruciate ligaments of the tissue, and pregnant women may feel abdominal pain. However, this type of abdominal pain is generally irregular and does not last long, so there is no need to worry. In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women may also experience physiological uterine contractions due to the stimulation of hormone changes. As long as they are not very severe, there is generally no big problem.

However, if the pain is persistent and accompanied by a feeling of heaviness in the lower abdomen, you should be alert to threatened abortion and go to the hospital for a physical examination immediately. You should first do a B-ultrasound examination to observe the condition of the gestational sac, and you can also do a progesterone test. If the progesterone value and water content are too low, it is very easy to have symptoms of threatened abortion such as abdominal pain and bleeding. Pregnant women should take progesterone supplements under the guidance of a doctor and actively protect the fetus.

In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women should avoid excessive activity, do not engage in strenuous exercise such as escaping and playing basketball, and cannot have sexual intercourse. Usually pay attention to maintaining a happy mood, reduce mental stress, supplement folic acid tablets regularly, and eat more nutritious foods.

If a pregnant woman has abdominal pain but no bleeding, it cannot be determined that it is caused by gynecological diseases, because many gastrointestinal problems can also cause abdominal pain. Therefore, it is interesting to evaluate abdominal pain in pregnant patients. Abdominal pain during pregnancy may have the following causes: 1. Pregnancy-related: such as embryo transfer to the endometrium, ectopic pregnancy, threatened abortion, premature birth, delivery, etc.; 2. Gynecological acute abdomen: rupture of ovarian cyst or distortion of the uterus and ovaries, space-occupying lesions caused by enlargement of uterine leiomyoma, etc.; 3. Surgical acute abdomen: appendicitis, intrahepatic bile duct stones, acute cholecystitis, urinary tract stones, infection, etc. Therefore, if pregnant women experience persistent or even severe abdominal pain, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to avoid delaying the disease and affecting the care of mother and baby.
