What does HPV55 positive mean?

HPV55 positive means vaginal or cervical infection with human papillomavirus type 55. There are many types of HPV viruses, which are divided into low-risk and high-risk types according to their harm. Persistent infection with high-risk HPV is closely related to the incidence of cervical cancer, while infection with low-risk HPV is related to the incidence of genital warts. How to prevent cervical cancer

(1) Married women over 25 years old or who have had sexual activity for more than three years should go to the hospital for regular check-ups. Regular check-ups are especially important for women with a family history of cervical cancer.

(2) Having multiple sexual partners and unhygienic sex life can lead to the spread of pathogenic viruses.
