Pregnant women with wisdom teeth have a hint of gender

Pregnant women are a special group. They need to take special care of their bodies during pregnancy, and there are many things they need to pay attention to during pregnancy. If wisdom teeth grow during pregnancy, you must pay special attention when dealing with them. The growth of wisdom teeth is a normal physiological phenomenon, but some people think that the growth of wisdom teeth in pregnant women is related to the birth of a boy or a girl. In fact, this is a wrong perception.

Pregnant women with wisdom teeth have a hint of gender

The growth of wisdom teeth in pregnant women has nothing to do with whether the baby is a boy or a girl. Wisdom teeth refer to the four third molars on the innermost part of the alveolar bone in the human mouth, one on the upper, lower, left and right sides. Because these four third molars begin to erupt in adulthood, when the person's physical and psychological development is close to maturity, they are regarded as a symbol of the arrival of "wisdom", so they are called "wisdom teeth".

People will grow wisdom teeth throughout their lives. Due to individual differences, some people grow them before the age of 20, while others grow them in their 30s or 40s. The location of wisdom teeth starts from the gap between the front teeth. Count the number of teeth from the front teeth on one side towards the inside. If there is an eighth tooth, it is the wisdom tooth. So having wisdom teeth does not necessarily mean you will give birth to a boy or a girl. There is no connection between the two at all. I hope pregnant mothers can look at this rationally.

How to deal with wisdom teeth during pregnancy

1. If these oral problems are not treated before pregnancy and only occur during pregnancy, you must go to a regular dental specialist to consult a professional doctor.

2. For those who suffer from severe oral pain during pregnancy, they should choose the appropriate time for treatment under the comprehensive assessment of a professional doctor. Generally, tooth extraction or surgery is performed during the middle of pregnancy, such as the 4th, 5th, or 6th month of pregnancy. However, pregnant women with a history of miscarriage or premature birth should be treated with caution. When using antibiotics, we should not overemphasize fetal safety and ignore the proper treatment needed by the mother.

3. The effects of antibiotics on the fetus are different at different stages of pregnancy. Using antibiotics within 2 weeks after fertilization may cause early miscarriage and may cause fetal malformations around 2 to 12 weeks of pregnancy. However, after 12 weeks of pregnancy until delivery, the effects of drugs on the fetus gradually weaken.

4. Pregnant women can choose safe and reliable treatment drugs under the guidance of professional doctors, and strictly follow the doctor's treatment recommendations. Do not take medication without authorization, and do not "harden your chest". Of course, it is best to solve these oral problems before planning pregnancy.
