I got pregnant without fallopian tubes

The female reproductive system is a very complex tissue, among which the fallopian tube is a relatively complex one. It plays a very important role and is the channel for nurturing the cradle of life. The fallopian tube is a very fragile organ in women's bodies and is very prone to disease, which has a great impact on fertility. But how can you get pregnant without fallopian tubes? Let’s take a look at the explanation below.

Everyone has two fallopian tubes and two ovaries. If a fallopian tube is removed due to some disease, only one side of the fallopian tube will be removed, and the other side will be retained. Therefore, if one side of the fallopian tube is removed and a normal pregnancy is possible, it is a normal phenomenon and generally the impact is not very significant. If both fallopian tubes are removed, then pregnancy is impossible. In this case, pregnancy is possible only after one fallopian tube is removed.

The normal pregnancy process is that the sperm and egg meet in the ampulla of the fallopian tube, the fertilized egg returns to the uterine cavity and implants, resulting in intrauterine pregnancy. Normal women have bilateral ovaries and fallopian tubes. When one fallopian tube is missing or removed, pregnancy can still occur with the remaining fallopian tube. After both fallopian tubes are removed, intrauterine pregnancy can occur by fertilizing the sperm and egg in vitro and then transferring the fertilized egg into the uterine cavity. This is the so-called in vitro fertilization.

With the development of medical technology, the birth of in vitro fertilization technology has given the majority of infertile patients hope of having a chance to have children again. The emergence of in vitro fertilization technology is even better news for female friends who cannot have children because they do not have fallopian tubes. Because IVF technology is in vitro fertilization, it does not require going through the fallopian tubes at all. Therefore, even if you do not have fallopian tubes, you can still get pregnant and have a baby through IVF technology.

Perhaps in the past, not having fallopian tubes would result in a lifetime of infertility. However, after the advent of in vitro fertilization technology, fallopian tubes are no longer a problem that plagues couples of childbearing age. In other words, women who do not have fallopian tubes can realize their dream of having children through this technology as long as they meet the indications for in vitro fertilization.
