The harm of prostatitis to women

Prostatitis is a common male disease. This disease can be transmitted to women through sexual intercourse, causing gynecological inflammation in women. Therefore, patients with prostatitis should take medication for treatment in a timely manner, otherwise it will affect the health of their partner, and they cannot have sex during the treatment process. Although prostatitis is a male disease, it can affect the quality of sexual life between couples, as well as the physical health of both men and women.

The harm of prostatitis to women

Male prostatitis can easily cause bacterial infection in women through sexual intercourse, leading to various gynecological inflammations. Studies have shown that some bacterial prostatitis, such as fungal prostatitis, Trichomonas prostatitis, gonorrheal prostatitis, non-gonococcal prostatitis, etc. can cause infection in wives. If you suffer from prostatitis, especially severe prostatitis or prostatitis that is prone to infection, you must take treatment measures, otherwise it will also endanger the health of your sexual partner.

Since the harm of prostatitis is so great, male friends really should not take it lightly. They should go to a regular hospital for treatment in time. This is the most correct choice. Delaying treatment will only make you regret it.

Prostatitis can cause serious harm to male friends

1. Acute bacterial prostatitis causes painful urination and swollen prostate, which can easily affect urination and cause urinary retention. Inflammation may spread to the epididymis causing epididymitis. If an abscess is formed, it may easily rupture into the rectum or perineum. Patients with bloodstream infection may also develop acute pyelonephritis simultaneously.

2. Chronic bacterial prostatitis causes urination irritation and pain or discomfort in different parts of the body. In severe cases, there are low back pain, radiating pain in the perineum and testicles, "white dripping" from the urethral orifice, and sexual dysfunction. White blood cells and phagocytes containing fat bodies may appear in the prostate massage fluid.

3. Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis does not have repeated urinary tract infections and often has prostatic fluid overflow from the urethra. Abnormal urine flow, irritative urination disorder, perineum and lumbosacral pain, etc.

4. Prostatic pain, pelvic floor tension pain, perineal pain, ejaculation pain, suprapubic discomfort, penile pain, testicular pain, low back pain, residual urine, hesitation to urinate, feeling of tightness and difficulty in urination accompanied by depression. Mental tension can aggravate the symptoms. At the same time, some patients may also present intermittent "pulse" urination.

5. Benign prostatic hyperplasia can cause frequent urination, dysuria and urinary retention, hematuria, urinary tract infection, bladder stones, and renal damage. Long-term dysuria can cause or aggravate extra-abdominal hernia, hemorrhoids, and rectal prolapse. Those with excessive residual urine or urinary retention may feel a mass in the lower abdomen due to overfilled bladder, and more serious hydronephrosis.

6. Prostate cancer has no obvious symptoms in its early stages. Prostate cancer can develop toward the rectum, and similar to rectal cancer, it has symptoms such as constipation, abdominal pain, bloody stools, and intermittent diarrhea. Late-stage prostate cancer often causes uremia after invading the bladder triangle. When prostate cancer is severe, the penis becomes infiltrated with lumps and edema, and may be accompanied by abnormal penile erections. Prostate cancer can metastasize, and the most common metastatic lesions are local lymph nodes, pelvis, and spine.

Prostate maintenance:

Let's start with our lifestyle habits! If you maintain your car properly, the life span will be extended. This is true for electrical appliances and cars, and even more so for our bodies:

1. Drink more water and avoid yellow urine

2. Don't hold your urine, go and pee when you have to.

3. Have a moderate sex life and arrange it reasonably according to age and condition.

4. Relax more, have some hobbies, and divert your attention. Focusing on the disease is not good for the disease.

5. Take a warm bath, and don't take a cold bath in summer.

6. Keep the vulva clean and change underwear frequently.

7. Avoid catching cold, do not eat cold drinks, and do not use very cold air conditioning.

8. Avoid friction, such as not riding a bicycle.

9. Overcome bad living habits such as not drinking, not smoking, eating light food, and not eating irritating food.

10. Exercise more to improve the body's ability to resist disease; such as slow walking, Tai Chi, yoga, etc.
