Stomach pain is a common phenomenon in our lives. We have all experienced stomach pain. Many people just get better slowly when they have stomach pain and do not pay attention to it. In fact, there are many reasons for stomach pain. When stomach pain occurs, it is best to go to the hospital for examination in time. For example, when there is pain on the left side of the abdomen, it is very likely caused by some disease.

1. Adnexitis: Adnexitis is the cause of lower left abdominal and lower back pain in women. Adnexitis is the most common gynecological inflammation. Acute adnexitis has symptoms such as severe lower abdominal pain, fever, chills, etc.; chronic adnexitis has symptoms of varying degrees of left-sided abdominal pain, or lower abdominal distension, accompanied by increased leucorrhea, back pain, menstrual disorders, etc.

2. Endometritis: Endometritis is caused by bacteria ascending along the vagina and cervix or descending along the fallopian tubes and reaching the endometrium through the lymphatic system. Under normal circumstances, the female vagina is acidic and the cervix has a mucus plug, which is the body's physiological barrier that can resist bacterial invasion.

3. Pelvic inflammatory disease: Pelvic inflammatory disease can also cause pain in the left side of the abdomen and back in female friends. Pelvic inflammatory disease usually has no obvious systemic symptoms, but sometimes there are lower abdominal pain, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, soreness in the lumbar region, and irregular menstruation. The symptoms of pain in the lower left side of the abdomen will worsen after sexual intercourse.

Note:

The lower abdomen contains many very important organs of the human body, among which the more well-known ones are some urinary system organs and internal reproductive organs. Women may experience pain in the left lower abdomen. There are many diseases that can cause this symptom. Generally, it is often caused by gynecological diseases or stones.
