What does tire slip mean?

For any woman, getting pregnant after getting married is undoubtedly the happiest thing, because after ten months of pregnancy, you can see your baby, not to mention how happy you are, and the whole family is happy. However, during the pregnancy process, pregnant women are prone to problems such as miscarriage, which really brings great disasters to the whole family. For example, what does the clinical condition called "slippery abortion" mean?

Miscarriage is a concept in traditional Chinese medicine, which refers to spontaneous abortion for more than three times in a row, with each miscarriage often occurring in the same month of pregnancy, which is called "miscarriage" and is called "habitual abortion" in Western medicine.

The main reasons for female miscarriage are congenital deficiency, excessive sexual intercourse, and indulgence in sexual intercourse after pregnancy, which damage the kidney qi and cause the fetus to lose its support; or the body is deficient in qi and blood, and serious or prolonged illness causes loss of blood and qi, causing the fetus to lose its support; or the body is deficient in yin and internal heat, and the cell network is not solid. It is equivalent to habitual miscarriage in modern medicine. The causes of habitual miscarriage in Western medicine include corpus luteum insufficiency, hypothyroidism, congenital uterine malformations, uterine developmental abnormalities, intrauterine adhesions, uterine fibroids, chromosomal abnormalities, autoimmunity, etc. Habitual late miscarriage is often caused by relaxation of the internal cervical os. Most of them are due to damage to the cervical opening caused by curettage or cervical dilation, and a few may be congenital developmental abnormalities. After the second trimester of pregnancy, due to the increase of amniotic fluid and the growth of the fetus, the pressure in the uterine cavity increases and the fetal sac may protrude from the internal os of the cervix. When the pressure in the uterine cavity increases to a certain level, the membrane will rupture and miscarriage will occur. Therefore, there are often no conscious symptoms before miscarriage.

Causes and clinical manifestations of miscarriage

Causes in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Traditional Chinese Medicine believes that this disease is mainly caused by two reasons: deficiency of kidney qi and deficiency of both qi and blood.

Kidney Qi Deficiency

Insufficient congenital endowment, insufficient kidney qi, or excessive sexual intercourse after pregnancy, resulting in damage to the kidney qi, weak Chong and Ren meridians, and loss of the fetus, leading to repeated pregnancies and miscarriages.

Clinical manifestations: repeated miscarriages, soreness of waist and knees, dizziness and tinnitus, fatigue, dark spots on the face, frequent urination at night, pale tongue with teeth marks, and weak pulse.

Qi and blood deficiency

Weak constitution, insufficient Qi and blood, or damage to the spleen due to diet or fatigue, insufficient Qi and blood, or serious illness or long-term illness that consumes Qi and damages blood can all lead to Qi and blood deficiency, insufficiency of Chong and Ren meridians, and inability to carry and nourish the fetus, resulting in repeated pregnancies and miscarriages.

Clinical manifestations: repeated pregnancies and miscarriages, fatigue, palpitations and shortness of breath, pale complexion, pale tongue, thin coating, and weak pulse.

Western medical causes: Only 50% of patients with recurrent miscarriage can identify the cause.

The main causes are chromosomal abnormalities (chromosomes of the couple or the embryo), maternal endocrine abnormalities (luteal insufficiency accounts for 23% to 60%, in addition polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperprolactinemia, etc.), maternal reproductive tract abnormalities (uterine malformation, cervical insufficiency), immune dysfunction (autoimmunity or alloimmunity), reproductive tract infection (Chlamydia trachomatis infection, etc.), and thrombosis. Other unhealthy lifestyles such as excessive smoking, alcoholism, excessive caffeine, organic solvents in the environment, obesity, etc. may also be related to habitual miscarriage.
