Fluid accumulation after miscarriage is a common health problem and it occurs in many women. If there is fluid accumulation in a woman's uterus and pelvis after a miscarriage, timely treatment is necessary. There are many ways to treat effusion. Generally speaking, they can be divided into three categories, namely drug therapy, physical therapy and surgical treatment. Below, we will introduce these three treatment methods in detail! 1. Drug treatment If a woman visits a doctor because of abdominal pain and an ultrasound examination shows fluid accumulation, this can be clearly diagnosed as acute pelvic inflammatory disease. If acute pelvic inflammatory disease is not treated actively, it may develop into chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, which may cause infertility, ectopic pregnancy, etc. in the future. In addition to anti-inflammatory treatment, pathological pelvic effusion can be treated with intramuscular injection of 5 mg of α-chymotrypsin or 1500 U of hyaluronidase, once every other day, for 5 to 10 times as a course of treatment, to facilitate the absorption of adhesions and inflammation. The medication should be discontinued if local or systemic allergic reactions occur in individual patients. In some cases, antibiotics are used simultaneously with dexamethasone, 0.75 mg of dexamethasone is taken orally 3 times a day. Special attention should be paid to gradually reducing the dose when dexamethasone is discontinued. 2. Physical therapy Generally speaking, drug treatment alone is not effective for pelvic effusion and requires a long course of treatment. Therefore, physical therapy is combined with medication. (1) Western medicine generally consists mainly of anti-inflammatory drugs. The main treatment is medication for pelvic inflammation. At the same time, 5 mg of α-chymotrypsin or 1500 U of hyaluronidase is injected intramuscularly once every other day, with 5 to 10 times as a course of treatment, to facilitate the absorption of adhesion and inflammation. In some cases, antibiotics and dexamethasone can be used at the same time, with 0.75 mg of dexamethasone taken orally 3 times a day. When stopping the drug, pay attention to gradually reduce the dose. (2) External application of traditional Chinese medicine Fuliangfang Pelvic Inflammation Patch is a good choice for the treatment of pelvic effusion. Pelvic effusion is mostly caused by chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Traditional Chinese medicine has a very good effect in treating chronic diseases, with a high cure rate, no recurrence, and treating both the symptoms and the root cause. Pelvic effusion can be treated with oral administration of Jingangteng syrup, Fule granules, Fuke Qianjin tablets, Fuyankang, etc. 3. Surgical treatment Patients with lumps such as hydrosalpinx or tubo-ovarian cysts can undergo surgical treatment; patients with small foci of infection and repeated inflammation should also undergo laparoscopic exploration. The principle of surgery is to completely cure the disease and avoid leaving any residual lesions. For young women, ovarian function should be preserved as much as possible. The effect of single therapy for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is poor, and comprehensive treatment is appropriate. |
