The pros and cons of swimming for women

In the hot summer, many people choose to go to the swimming pool to slow down, and many people also choose to learn swimming in the swimming pool. Although learning to swim seems to be a very complicated form of exercise, it has to be admitted that swimming can indeed bring many benefits to a person's body. Because swimming can exercise a person's whole body muscles, making the body more fit, so what are the advantages and disadvantages of women learning to swim?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of women swimming?

Swimming can also help change your body shape as you age. Swimming can strengthen the chest and back muscles, reduce waist circumference, and allow both men and women to have an ideal inverted triangle body shape. It is also very effective for parts of the body that are difficult to exercise in daily life, such as the upper arms (triceps).

Because the whole body has to be used, the muscle proportions will be more balanced. Swimming can also increase lung capacity and improve endurance. This is not only true when exercising, but activities that would previously have made you breathless can now become easier. You can also quickly regain your composure when catching the tram.

Swimming can reduce body fat and it is an aerobic exercise. Exercise that does not put a strain on the muscles means exercise that will start burning fat after more than 20-30 minutes from the start. Oxygen combines with blood lipids to convert the fat into energy. So-called anaerobic exercises, such as sprinting, are effective in training instantaneous power.

Although swimming can indeed reduce body fat, it cannot significantly reduce weight. If you expect immediate results, it will not last long. Some people also believe that swimming will cause fat accumulation. But this varies from person to person. Some people may feel that fat is easily accumulated if they are exposed to low temperatures for a long time. This might be the reason why she has an attractive swimmer's body but doesn't have a lot of muscles. This problem should be solved in a heated swimming pool.

Generally speaking, as long as you know the right degree, the benefits of swimming outweigh the disadvantages. But swimming is not suitable for everyone. People with severe hypertension and heart disease should not swim, otherwise they are prone to illness. In addition, always keep safety in mind when swimming. Choose the right swimming spot and warm up adequately before entering the water.
