Why do girls have mild athlete's foot?

In life, many girls are obsessed with mysophobia, so they take great care of their bodies. Not only do they wash their feet every day, but they also use some skin care products to care for the skin of their feet. It is rare to find girls with unpleasant odors coming from their feet, but there is one exception, that is, when they suffer from athlete's foot. So, why do girls have mild athlete's foot?

1. Intake is too little. The daily intake requirement for normal adults is 1.2 to 1.5 mg, and for women it is 1.0 to 1.1 mg. It is related to energy requirements and is generally not less than 0.5 mg/1000 kcal. Vitamin B1 is abundant in yeast, animal tissue, beans, peanuts, wheat, and brown rice. Vitamin B1 may be lost if grains are refined or stored improperly, become moldy, or deteriorate. Thiamine is a water-soluble vitamin and is not resistant to high temperatures under alkaline conditions. Therefore, it may be lost or destroyed with rice soup and vegetable soup if it is not cooked properly. In addition, loss of appetite, heavy drinking, and long-term intravenous nutrition may lead to insufficient intake of vitamin B1.

2. Increased demand. Under physiological conditions, such as during the period of rapid growth and development, pregnancy and lactation, those who engage in heavy physical labor and exercise, or those who eat a high-carbohydrate, low-fat, low-protein diet, the demand for vitamin B1 increases. The requirement for vitamin B1 also increases in pathological conditions such as thyrotoxicosis, prolonged fever, and chronic wasting diseases.

3. Absorption disorder. Vitamin B1 is absorbed in the small intestine by passive diffusion and active transport depending on its concentration, and a small amount is stored in the body. Diseases such as chronic diarrhea, intestinal tuberculosis, and typhoid fever can cause vitamin B1 absorption disorders. People with alcoholism, chronic malnutrition and folic acid deficiency may also have absorption disorders. In addition to absorption disorders, patients with alcoholic liver disease also have intermediate metabolic disorders in the conversion of thiamine to thiamine pyrophosphate.

4. Decomposition increases. Eating certain foods containing thiaminase, such as raw fish, oysters, shrimp, coffee, tea, and other plants, can oxidize the vitamin and cause thiamin levels in the body to drop.

5. Increased excretion. The excretion forms of vitamin B1 in urine are mainly thiamine itself (secreted by the renal tubules) and acetylated derivatives, thiazole acetate derivatives, etc. When using diuretics, excessive loss of vitamin B1 may occur. In addition, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or diarrhea can also lead to loss of vitamin B1.
