Nipple pain after menstruation

Nipple pain after menstruation

Breast tenderness after menstruation may be a symptom of breast hyperplasia. Breast hyperplasia is mainly characterized by cyclical breast pain, which initially presents as a diffuse distending pain, with tenderness being more pronounced on the outer upper side and upper middle part of the breast. The pain intensifies before each month's menstruation and subsides or disappears after menstruation. In severe cases, there is persistent pain before and after menstruation. Sometimes the pain radiates to the armpits, shoulders, back, upper limbs, etc.

Patients often report that they have a lump in their breast, but clinical examination only reveals thickened mammary glands. In very rare cases of simple lobular breast hyperplasia in adolescence, the disease can heal itself in about 2 years, but most patients need treatment. Don't endure it.

Fibrocystic breast disease is the most common breast disease in women, and its incidence ranks first among breast diseases. In recent years, the incidence of this disease has been increasing year by year, and the age of patients has been getting younger and younger. According to surveys, about 70%-80% of women have varying degrees of breast hyperplasia, which is more common in women aged 25-45. Breast hyperplasia is a structural degenerative lesion of breast tissue ducts and lobules and progressive growth of connective tissue. The main cause of the disease is endocrine hormone imbalance. Modern medicine believes that marriage, childbirth, diet, external environment of human survival and genetic factors are the main causes of breast disease.

As the pace of modern life continues to accelerate, female friends are under great pressure. If you are not careful, you may develop breast diseases. Female friends should conduct self-examinations. Once any abnormality of the breast is found, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time. It’s okay if you are healthy, but if you have breast disease, you must detect and treat it early to avoid delaying the disease.
