Uterine pressure 100

Uterine pressure 100

Childbirth is a very difficult process for women. They have to endure tremendous pain and mental torture during the process. As the duration of contractions increases, the pain women endure will become more and more severe. People often say that if the number of contractions reaches 100, it means that delivery is imminent. Work has a time and regularity. The shorter the working time becomes, the imminent delivery is imminent.

How many fingers dilated is it when the uterine contraction pressure reaches 100?

1. The closer you get to delivery, the stronger the contractions will be. Before delivery, the pressure of uterine contractions can reach 80-90%, or even close to 100%, and the duration of contractions will become longer and longer, up to nearly 1 minute. But if you really want to give birth, the frequency of uterine contractions should be regular. If they are not regular, you will not give birth even if the contractions reach 100.

2. The regularity of uterine contractions, for example, starts with an interval of 10 minutes with a pain of 20 seconds, then changes to 4-5 minutes with a pain duration of longer and longer, to 50 seconds, which means the birth is really about to begin.

3. When the cervix is dilated to the size of 1 finger, the expectant mother is in labor, but it is not the actual birth yet and the pain will not be much. During this stage, pay attention to changes in fetal movements and go to the hospital for treatment at any time if there are any abnormalities. Generally, when the cervix is dilated to 3 fingers, the mother can enter the delivery room; and it usually takes a long time for the cervix to dilate from 3 fingers to fully dilate; at this time, the mother's pain goes from no pain to severe pain, so it feels more difficult.

4. When the cervix is dilated to 10 fingers, the mother has entered the state of giving birth!

How can pregnant women eliminate uterine contraction anxiety?

(1) Psychotherapy

Psychological therapy can relieve uterine contraction pain, establish a good nurse-patient relationship, and make the mother feel safe and trustful. Due to the implementation of family planning in our country, the society and family give great preferential treatment and care to the mother, which to some extent causes them to be overly cautious.

(2) Eliminate the anxiety, tension and fear of the parturient

Factors such as anxiety, tension, and fear can make the mother more sensitive to pain and aggravate the pain. Tension is an important pathogenic factor clinically. The mother's mental tension can inhibit the cerebral cortex through the central nervous system, making uterine contractions weak and the cervix difficult to dilate, resulting in a prolonged labor process. Clinical observations show that 50% of pregnant women suffer from anxiety and 75% suffer from tension and fear.
