Is it normal to have a lot of fluid during ovulation?

It is normal to have a lot of fluid during ovulation. Generally speaking, during ovulation, due to the increase in estrogen, the amount of leucorrhea will also increase, but the appearance of leucorrhea is relatively transparent and stringy. Between 24 and 48 hours before your period, your vaginal discharge will also increase. Of course, this also has something to do with individual physique. It's normal for someone to not have as much water during ovulation.

It is normal for a lot of watery substance to come out.

Generally during ovulation, the amount of leucorrhea will increase, but it will be more transparent and slightly sticky like egg white. If the symptoms are close to this, it is normal. If the leucorrhea is completely watery and not sticky, it is considered abnormal.

After ovulation, the ovaries secrete (progesterone), which prevents the excessive secretion of cervical mucus, reduces leucorrhea, and dries the lower body. After about 10 days, menstruation comes. 1-2 days before the start of menstruation, the amount of leucorrhea increases slightly, but it is not as transparent and sticky as during the ovulation period. The changes in the wetness and dryness of women's lower body caused by the amount of vaginal discharge, such as less, more, and dryer, are the periodic changes of vaginal discharge.

Due to increased estrogen levels in the body.

It promotes the proliferation of epithelial cells of cervical glands, increases the secretion of cervical mucus, increases the sodium chloride content in the mucus, and can absorb more water, so that the female's leucorrhea will become mucus when approaching ovulation, and become clearer, smoother and elastic, just like the state of egg white, and has the characteristics of high stringiness and not easy to break. The last day of the appearance of this mucus is the ovulation day within 48 hours.

As the follicle develops and matures, it gradually migrates to the surface of the ovary and protrudes outward. As the follicle approaches the surface of the ovary, the surface cells become thinner and eventually rupture. After most of the follicular fluid flows out, the egg is discharged, which is called "ovulation". If the menstrual cycle is very regular, a woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period.

Generally, the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days are called the ovulation period.

After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1 to 2 days, waiting for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain its fertilization ability in the female's reproductive tract for 2 to 3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period. Blood hormone levels, cervical mucus, vaginal exfoliated cell examination, and B-ultrasound can all help determine ovulation.
