What fish is suitable to eat during menstruation

1. White radish fish head soup

Half a large fish head, 1 white radish, 1 handful of mung bean vermicelli, white pepper, coriander, cooking wine, and pork fat.

① Heat the pan, add lard or ordinary cooking oil, when the oil is hot, put the fish head into the pan and fry it over high heat. Pour cooking wine on the fish head and the fishy smell will evaporate with the wine. Pour in the ginger slices, then pour in the water, add pepper powder, and add the chopped white radish.

② Wait for the water to boil for 5-6 minutes, then cover the pot to dissipate some of the fishy smell. After about 20 minutes, the white radish becomes transparent. Pour in the vermicelli and cook for 2 minutes before turning off the heat. Add pepper once more, then salt and sprinkle with cilantro.

2. Crucian carp and tofu soup

Crucian carp, tender tofu, cooking wine, salt, ginger, and green onion.

① Remove the internal organs, scales and gills of the crucian carp, cut off the fins and tail, wash and drain. Add water to a cooking pot, bring to a boil and turn to medium heat. Add tofu and blanch for about 3 minutes, then remove and cut into pieces. Heat the wok, add oil and turn to low heat. Add the crucian carp and fry until both sides are golden brown.

②Pour water into a pot, bring to a boil and then turn to low heat. Add crucian carp, ginger and cooking wine, cover and cook for about 20 minutes. Add tofu and salt and continue to cook for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle with scallions.

3. Red Dates, Crucian Carp, and Papaya Soup

① Wash the papaya, cut it, peel it, remove the seeds and cut it into pieces. Wash the red dates with clean water. Cut ginger into shreds and green onion into sections.

② Heat the wok, add oil, put in the crucian carp and fry until both sides turn yellow, then remove from the pan. Add water to the pot, bring to a boil over high heat, add crucian carp, ginger slices and red dates, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add scallion segments and papaya cubes, cover with lid and simmer until the papaya is cooked, then add salt and simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Milky white crucian carp and barley soup

2 crucian carps (about 400 grams), 50 grams of coix seeds, about 20 wolfberries, salt, cooking wine, ginger, and 2 chives.

① Clean the crucian carp, then apply some salt on the fish and marinate for 5 minutes. Wash the coix seeds and soak them in water for half a day in advance for later use. Use kitchen paper to absorb moisture from the surface of the processed crucian carp, put a layer of oil in the pan, put the crucian carp into the pan, fry slowly over low heat, after one side is fried through, turn it over and continue frying.

② After the crucian carp is fried, add boiling water, shallots, ginger slices, and cooking wine. Keep boiling over high heat for 5 minutes, until the soup turns white. Then pour the soaked coix seeds into the soup, bring it to a boil again, then simmer on low heat for 1 hour. Finally, add the soaked wolfberries two minutes before serving, add salt, and sprinkle some chopped shallots for garnish when drinking.

5. Enoki mushroom and crucian carp soup

A crucian carp, 250 grams of enoki mushrooms, 10 wolfberries, some scallions, green onions, and ginger.

① Remove the gills and gut the crucian carp, clean it up, and make three cuts on both sides of the fish body with a knife. Fry in a pan until both sides are golden brown and set aside.

②Put the fish into a casserole or soup pot and add an appropriate amount of water, at least enough to cover the fish. Add cooking wine, salt, scallion segments and ginger slices. Cook over high heat with the cover on. When the pot boils, add wolfberries and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes. Add enoki mushrooms. Remove from the pan after 5 minutes and sprinkle with green onions.
