What causes intrauterine hemorrhage?

What causes intrauterine hemorrhage?

The uterus is the most important organ for women. It can nurture babies inside, but as women age, they will develop many gynecological diseases and blood will often accumulate in the uterine cavity. This is because the smooth muscles in the uterus are severely damaged, the elasticity is weakened, the cellulose is cut, and the contraction force of the uterus decreases. The blood flow is slow, which leads to blockage. You must go to the hospital for timely treatment. Serious consequences may lead to infertility.

1. Uterine smooth muscle fiber factors. During cesarean section, the smooth muscle fibers of the mother's uterus are cut off, and the integrity of the uterine muscle wall is destroyed, resulting in a significant decrease in uterine contraction force after delivery, inducing intrauterine blood accumulation.

2. Cervical factors. Generally, vaginal delivery is indicated by abdominal pain, ruptured membranes, and dilated cervix in the mother, while the date of cesarean section is decided by the doctor based on the mother's physical condition and the fetal condition. If some mothers undergo cesarean section without trial delivery or without labor and the cervix has not yet dilated, after the operation, it is easy for intrauterine bleeding to not be discharged in time and smoothly, resulting in blood accumulation in the uterine cavity.

The increase in pathological obstetrics will lead to an increase in the proportion of elective surgery if the mother has other complications before cesarean section, such as vaginal bleeding, pregnancy complicated with hypertension and other diseases. On the other hand, the primary disease will directly affect the contraction of uterine smooth muscle and induce uterine bleeding.

Edema at the uterine incision site is clinically easy to occur due to factors such as uterine suturing technique and infection, leading to stenosis of the lower uterine segment, poor discharge of intrauterine blood and shed decidual tissue, and resulting in intrauterine blood accumulation. In addition, surgical suturing does not restore the anatomical structure well, causing the uterus to bend toward the back of the body, which is not conducive to the outflow of accumulated blood.

It affects uterine involution. Hemorrhage in the uterine cavity is also the result of poor uterine involution. At the same time, the contraction of uterine smooth muscle under hemorrhage in the uterine cavity is affected, which can in turn affect uterine involution and further aggravate the poor uterine involution.
