Vulvar cysts are often mistaken for sebaceous cysts. In fact, this type of vulvar cyst is relatively rare, so it is often misdiagnosed. Vulvar cysts are more common in middle-aged women. They are mainly caused by gynecological inflammation due to the invasion of pathogens. Can vulvar cysts heal themselves? No. It is possible that they need to be treated before they can be cured. There are many causes of vulvar cysts, which may be due to the residual tissue of the ectoderm differentiated from the vulvar epidermis, or partial blockage of the pubic hair follicles, or implantation errors caused during certain vulvar surgeries, such as surgical sutures. Patients with vulvar cysts generally do not find its existence because it has no special symptoms, grows relatively slowly, has a hard texture, is slightly raised on the surface of the pubic skin, and can move with the skin.
