How to control diet when the fetus is too big

In the late stages of pregnancy, many pregnant women face this problem: the fetus is too large. In fact, it is not good for the fetus to be too large, because it will cause problems such as difficulty in giving birth naturally for the mother. Therefore, if the fetus is too large in the late pregnancy, the pregnant woman must control her diet to ensure that the baby is of normal size to reduce the risk during delivery. So, how should you control your diet if the fetus is too big?

1. How to control diet in late pregnancy

In the late stages of pregnancy, that is, after 7 months, the weight of the fetus increases rapidly. If nutrition cannot keep up, pregnant women will often develop complications such as anemia, edema, and high blood pressure. During this period, pregnant women need to replenish qi, blood and yin, and the total amount of nutrition increased is 20% to 40% of the pre-pregnancy amount.

In order to achieve the above standards, pregnant women in the late pregnancy should pay attention to a balanced diet. Plant foods, which are what we call vegetarian food, generally contain more vitamins and nutrients. However, these foods generally lack a nutrient called taurine. Humans need to take in a certain amount of taurine from the outside to maintain normal physiological functions. For example, taurine has an important impact on children's vision. If there is a lack of taurine, children's electroretinogram examination will show abnormalities. Most animal foods contain taurine. To ensure adequate intake, you should eat some animal foods.

Therefore, the food that pregnant women eat should be diversified, with a combination of meat and vegetables, coarse and fine grains, staple and non-staple foods, and the combination should be appropriate. Complementary foods include: milk, eggs, bean products, poultry, lean meat, fish, shrimp, vegetables and fruits.

2. The diet recipe for late pregnancy: double cream

Recommended reason: This dish is rich in nutrients such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, vitamin K, etc. Eating it before delivery can prevent heavy bleeding during delivery, and after delivery can increase the vitamin K content in breast milk.

Method: Wash and drain the corn; break the cauliflower and broccoli into small florets, blanch them in boiling water for 1 minute, rinse and drain. Fry the cauliflower and broccoli in oil and place on a plate. Put flour in the remaining oil in the pot, stir-fry over low heat until it turns yellow, add fresh milk, mix well, then add salt, pepper, corn, and diced carrots, stir well and pour over the cauliflower and broccoli.

3. Late pregnancy diet recipe: stir-fried meat with three shreds

Reason for recommendation: Reasonable color combination, good color, aroma and taste, contains high-quality protein, iron and zinc.

Method: First, cut the lean pork into thin strips, mix with starch, soy sauce and cooking wine. When the oil pan is hot, add the shredded pork and stir-fry over high heat until 80% cooked, then turn off the heat and pour out for later use. Put the wok back on the heat, add oil and heat it up, stir-fry the shredded scallion and ginger, add celery and shredded tofu, and stir-fry until 80% cooked. Then add the fried shredded pork and the remaining soy sauce and cooking wine, stir-fry over high heat until cooked and serve.
