Does Chinese medicine work for uterine prolapse?

Uterine prolapse is a relatively common symptom. There are many reasons for uterine prolapse. Childbirth is the main cause of uterine prolapse. Women with uterine prolapse will experience abdominal prolapse and will also have symptoms of back pain. Generally, mild uterine prolapse does not require treatment. If it is severe, it needs to be taken seriously and actively treated. Uterine prolapse can be treated with traditional Chinese medicine.

Uterine prolapse, also known as uterine prolapse, refers to the uterus moving from its normal position along the vagina to the external cervical opening, and in severe cases even protruding out of the vaginal opening. Uterine prolapse is more common in women who have just given birth, as well as women who are malnourished, do physical labor, etc. It is generally treated with a pessary and surgery. Traditional Chinese medicine also has a certain effect in treating uterine prolapse.

1. For early-stage uterine prolapse, you can use a pessary for treatment. Choose a pessary of the right size. Generally, put the pessary in when you get up in the morning, take it out at night, and wash it clean. Not to be used during menstruation.

2. Patients with mild symptoms do not need special treatment. Generally, they can rest in bed and do appropriate pelvic floor muscle exercises. The training method is: contract the anus forcefully, contract the pelvic floor muscles for three seconds and then relax, exercise for 10 to 15 minutes each time, and you can do this training when you get up every day.

3. Surgical treatment is also a major treatment for uterine prolapse. Whether surgical treatment can be performed is determined based on the cause of the disease, the severity of the disease, and whether the patient has fertility requirements.

4. Now many people also use traditional Chinese medicine to treat uterine prolapse. For uterine prolapse caused by liver depression, you can boil Phellodendron chinense, peach kernel, tangerine peel and costus root together in a pot, and scrub the affected area before going to bed every night. The effect is very good. For uterine prolapse caused by spleen deficiency, you can use angelica, white atractylodes, poria, jujube, gallnut, and lotus seeds boiled and take it three times a day, which has a certain therapeutic effect.

When the uterus prolapses, patients should pay attention to vaginal hygiene to avoid infection. Patients with uterine prolapse should avoid heavy physical labor, stand or squat for long periods of time, avoid adding pressure to the abdomen, and maintain smooth urination and defecation. Do appropriate physical exercise to improve your physical fitness.
