Why do I feel afraid of heat during pregnancy?

Being afraid of cold and heat is a normal reaction of the human body, but as long as the temperature does not reach a very high level, normal people will not feel hot. However, some women find themselves very afraid of heat after becoming pregnant, and they will sweat at the slightest sign of a temperature rise. Moreover, many women find that their body temperature has increased significantly after they become pregnant. So why do pregnant women fear heat during pregnancy?

1. Hormones during pregnancy affect it, and it is normal to be afraid of heat

After pregnancy, a man's body temperature begins to change slowly. Under normal circumstances, the body temperature should be between 36.9℃-37.2℃. In the early stages of pregnancy, a woman's ovaries form a corpus luteum, and the secretion of progesterone by the corpus luteum often causes the body temperature to rise. A certain amount of progesterone will cause the body temperature to rise, which is also a normal phenomenon, so don't worry too much about it.

2. Metabolism speeds up, and pregnant mothers are more afraid of heat

As the pregnancy progresses, blood flow increases, blood circulation speeds up, and therefore metabolism also speeds up. Therefore, pregnant women will be more afraid of heat.

3. The body is hot before pregnancy, which is more serious during pregnancy

If you have a hot constitution before pregnancy, you will be more afraid of heat after pregnancy. Such pregnant women are also prone to acne or urticaria, and their skin condition will be much worse.

Pregnant women who are afraid of heat should be careful when dressing and try to choose loose and sweat-absorbent fabrics, such as cotton or linen, which are clearer and cooler, and can also dissipate heat and ventilate. You can also choose looser maternity skirts so that your abdomen will not be too hot. The armpits and crotch are more prone to sweating, so when we choose clothes, the cut must be loose so that more sweat can be discharged.

It is actually normal for pregnant women to be afraid of heat after pregnancy. After pregnancy, the hormones in women's bodies will change, and the metabolism will speed up and the blood flow will increase. Therefore, they will also be afraid of heat. If you really can't stand it, then we need to do a good job of physical cooling. For example, try not to expose yourself to the sun, and try to choose loose cotton clothes when wearing clothes.
