Itchy calves during late pregnancy

Itchy calves during late pregnancy

When women reach the late stages of pregnancy, it becomes increasingly inconvenient for them to move, so their use time will be reduced accordingly, and many women will experience poor blood circulation. When blood circulation is poor, it can cause some physical problems, so some women experience itchy legs in the late stages of pregnancy. So how can pregnant women relieve leg itching during late pregnancy?

You can choose to soak your feet in hot water. Soaking your feet in hot water can speed up blood circulation and improve the insufficient blood supply to the nerve endings of your hands and feet, thereby alleviating the symptoms to a certain extent. There are several methods:

1. Add a teaspoon of rice vinegar to the water, stir well and soak your feet for 15 minutes, once a day. For three to five days, you will see obvious therapeutic effects.

2. Add 15 grams of Pueraria powder and 15 grams of white wine to water, boil it and soak your feet once a day for one week as a course of treatment. This practice can help expectant mothers remove foot sweat and effectively relieve itching.

3. Take 50 grams of alum and dissolve it in hot water, stir until the alum is dissolved, and soak your feet in the hot water for ten minutes.

4. Add appropriate amount of pepper and salt to boiling water, cook on high heat for two minutes, let it cool to 40-45 degrees, and soak your feet. Try to control the time within half an hour.

5. Use water at about 50 to 60 degrees to soak your feet. Put your feet into the water and then quickly lift them out of the hot water. Repeat this several times, preferably for fifteen minutes each time, once or twice a day. It is best to control the water temperature within the acceptable range for pregnant women to prevent scalding, and the time spent in the water should not be too long.
