TCT is problematic but biopsy is inflammation

With the development of medical technology, people are no longer ignorant of the symptoms related to cervical cancer. Cervical cancer in women can be diagnosed through some examination items in the early stages of the disease, which greatly reduces the risk of cancer. TCT is one of the cervical cancer test items, but when the TCT test data is abnormal, it does not mean that the patient has cervical cancer. A biopsy is still needed to consider whether the patient has gynecological inflammation.

1. The degeneration and necrosis of local tissues caused by inflammation is called alteration. Degeneration is a damage process caused by inflammatory factors, and is the morphological manifestation of changes in local cell and tissue metabolism and physical and chemical properties. Degeneration can occur in both parenchymal cells and interstitial cells. The degeneration of parenchymal cells is often manifested as cell edema, fatty degeneration, cell coagulative necrosis and liquefactive necrosis. The degeneration of the interstitium often manifests as myxoid degeneration, hyaline degeneration of connective tissue, and fibrous necrosis.

2. Deterioration is the result of the direct action of inflammatory factors, or the mediation of local blood circulation disorders and immune mechanisms that occur during the inflammation process, as well as the action of inflammatory reaction products. The severity of deterioration depends on the nature and intensity of the inflammatory factors and the body's responsiveness. The hydrolytic enzymes released after tissue and cell degeneration and necrosis dissolve and liquefy the damaged tissue and cells, and further cause the surrounding tissues and cells to degenerate and cause organ dysfunction.

Exudation

3. The process in which fluid and cellular components in the blood vessels of local inflammatory tissues pass through the blood vessel walls and enter the tissue interstitium, body cavity, mucosal surface and body surface is called exudation. The exuded fluid and cells are collectively called exudate or exudate. During inflammation, the exudate contains higher levels of protein, more cellular components and their breakdown products. These exudate components play an important defensive role in the inflammatory response and play an active role in eliminating pathogenic factors and harmful substances. Exudative lesions centered on vascular reaction are the most characteristic changes of inflammation. The vascular response in this process is mainly manifested as hemodynamic changes (inflammatory congestion), increased vascular permeability (inflammatory exudate), fluid exudate and cell exudate (inflammatory infiltration).
