Granulomatous mastitis heals spontaneously

Granulomatous mastitis is a common form of mastitis. Generally speaking, if you have this type of mastitis, you must receive timely and effective treatment. If it is not treated, it will not heal on its own. Instead, it will easily worsen the condition and seriously affect women's health. There are many treatment methods, such as medication, physical therapy, etc. More serious cases can also be treated through surgery. Let’s take a look at this aspect.

Granulomatous mastitis heals spontaneously

No. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment is effective, but it cannot currently cure the disease. Some are ineffective, while others improve for a while. Chinese medicine can gradually improve the body's immune status, relieve excessive autoimmune reactions, and may cure "granuloma".

The initial symptoms of granuloma are sudden pain and the appearance of lumps in the surrounding areas of the breast, which will inevitably develop towards the areola. After about a month, redness and swelling will first appear near the areola. In some people, the surface skin of the lump will first become red and swollen. If the surgery is performed before the skin becomes red and swollen, the appearance will be ideal, the recurrence rate will be extremely low, and there will be no trouble with small red skin.

Granulomatous mastitis symptoms

After suffering from granulomatous mastitis, the symptoms are still quite obvious. Clinical manifestations: The average age is 30 years old, and the course of the disease is short, within 5 months. The main manifestations are: breast lumps, pain, hard texture, irregular shape, unclear boundaries with normal tissue, and enlarged lymph nodes in the ipsilateral axillary. The onset is sudden or the lump suddenly increases in size. After a few days, the skin turns red and small abscesses form. After the abscesses break, there is not much pus and the abscesses take a long time to heal. Redness, swelling and ulceration occur one after another.

Granulomatous mastitis often occurs in multiparous women with lactation problems, such as flat or inverted nipples that prevent the baby from sucking, or poor milk discharge, or milk retention and mastitis due to the mother or the baby. Therefore, granulomatous mastitis is a more serious type than ordinary mastitis. Its course of illness is generally not too long, but because it will cause breast pain, lumps, swollen lymph nodes, etc., these symptoms must be treated in a timely manner if found.
