Can cupping cure irregular menstruation?

Nowadays, many people are obsessed with traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Although traditional Chinese medicine does not have such good effects, the effects are not that bad. Moreover, the efficiency of traditional Chinese medicine treatment is much higher than ordinary treatment. It can also prevent the occurrence of some complications. Cupping is a common treatment method. Cupping can quickly speed up blood circulation throughout the body, and at the same time excrete cold and moisture in the body. Cupping can treat irregular menstruation.

Governing Law

Method 1

Select acupoints: Diaphragm Shu, Liver Shu, Qi Men, Zhong Ji, and Xue Hai.

Location of Diaphragmatic Point: On the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the 7th thoracic vertebra [the acupoint is located at the vertebra at the level of the lower angle of both shoulder blades (7th thoracic vertebra), about 2 horizontal fingers (index and middle fingers) lateral to the lower edge of the spinous process].

Liver Shu: On the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra [from the vertebra at the lower angle of both shoulder blades (7th thoracic vertebra), push down 2 vertebrae, that is, the lower edge of the spinous process of the 9th thoracic vertebra, about 2 horizontal fingers (index and middle fingers) lateral to the acupuncture point].

Qimen: On the chest, directly below the nipple, in the 6th intercostal space, 4 inches lateral to the anterior midline (men can take any position, women can lie down, and the acupoint is located two ribs below the nipple).

Zhongji: In the lower abdomen, on the anterior midline, 4 inches below the navel.

Xuehai: Bend the knee, on the inner side of the thigh, 2 inches above the inner end of the patella, at the bulge of the inner head of the quadriceps femoris (sitting, bend the knee to 90 degrees, the doctor stands opposite the patient, points the left palm to the center of the right patella, and places the palm on the knee, the tip of the thumb points to the point where the acupuncture point is).

Cupping method: blood pricking cupping. Use plum blossom needle to prick the diaphragm and liver points until they bleed slightly. Then use cupping until a small amount of blood spots appear on the skin. The remaining acupoints were treated with simple cupping therapy, with the cupping left on for 10 minutes, once a day, and 10 times as a course of treatment.

Method 2

The selected acupoints are Guilai, Xuehai, Li Gou, Sanyinjiao and Taichong.

Location: In the lower abdomen, 4 inches below the umbilicus, 2 inches lateral to the anterior midline (on the anterior midline, 1 horizontal finger above the upper edge of the pubic symphysis, and 2 horizontal fingers lateral to the point is the acupoint).

Xuehai: Bend the knee, on the inner side of the thigh, 2 inches above the inner end of the patellar base, at the bulge of the medial head of the quadriceps femoris.

Li Gou: On the inner side of the calf, 5 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, in the center of the inner side of the tibia.

Sanyinjiao: On the inner side of the calf, 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, behind the inner edge of the tibia (put four fingers together, with the lower edge of the little finger close to the tip of the inner ankle, and the horizontal line of the upper edge of the index finger at the intersection of the posterior edge of the tibia, which is the intersection of the acupuncture points).

Taichong: On the dorsum of the foot, in the posterior depression of the first metatarsal space [push upward from the seam between the first and second toes to the dorsum of the foot to the depression at the joint edge of the two bones (about 2 horizontal fingers above the seam head) to obtain the acupuncture point].
