Many people are not clear about what the follicle is, but the follicle is a very important part for women. Because if a woman wants to get pregnant, the body and sperm need to combine to achieve the effect of pregnancy. Even if I put it simply, it is what people commonly call eggs. Normally girls ovulate, but some people find that they have follicles during their menstrual period. So what does this situation indicate about the female body? 1. Will there be follicles during menstruation? There are no follicles during the menstrual period. The follicular phase starts from the day the last menstruation stops and ends on the day of ovarian ovulation, lasting 10 to 12 days. During this stage, the granulosa cells of the follicles produce estrogen under the action of FSH and LH. Under the action of estrogen, the endometrium proliferates rapidly, blood vessels proliferate, and the glands widen and lengthen, but no secretion occurs. At the end of this period, the ovary releases an egg. If the egg matures but cannot be released for some reason, it will enter the next stage. 2. The difference between menstrual period and follicular phase The safe period is divided into the safe period before ovulation and the safe period after ovulation. The period from the end of menstruation to the day before ovulation is the safe period before ovulation. The safe period after ovulation is from the day after ovulation to the day before the next menstrual period. The safe period after ovulation is safer than the safe period before ovulation. This is because women are sometimes affected by environmental changes and mood swings and other factors, which cause ovulation to be advanced, so that the safe period before ovulation will be shortened, but they do not know this, so there are problems in the safe period before ovulation. 3. Is it okay to have sex during menstruation? Although having sex during menstruation will not prevent pregnancy, it is best for women not to have sex during menstruation to avoid causing damage to the reproductive system and affecting physical health. Having sex during menstruation can easily lead to reproductive organ infection, cause a variety of gynecological diseases, and even cause infertility. When a woman has her menstrual period, the endometrium peels off piece by piece. If you have sexual intercourse during your menstrual period, it is easy to bring bacteria from the vulva and perineum into the vagina, cervix and even into the uterus. The bacteria grow and multiply where there is blood, causing inflammation on the spot. This is called endometritis, which not only causes fever and lower abdominal pain, but also increased menstrual bleeding and prolonged menstrual period. |
