If there is inflammation, is the blood bright red?

Inflammation is a pathological process and there are many types of inflammation. Female inflammation refers to inflammation of the female reproductive organs, mostly vaginal inflammation, with symptoms including vulvar itching, abnormal secretions, and bleeding. There are many manifestations of inflammation. Many women do not pay too much attention to the early stages of inflammation, and if they do not receive timely treatment, the condition may worsen. Many people don't know whether bleeding due to inflammation is bright red or dark red. So if there is inflammation, is the blood bright red?

1. Classification of inflammation of female reproductive organs

1. Vaginitis: The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge and vulvar itching, or burning, pain, and pain during sexual intercourse. The discharge is typically thin, purulent, yellow-green, frothy, and has a foul odor. If combined with urinary tract infection, there may be frequent urination, painful urination, and sometimes hematuria.

2. Cervicitis: Some cases are asymptomatic, while those with symptoms have increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. The stimulation of vaginal discharge can cause itching and burning sensation in the vagina, and symptoms such as intermenstrual bleeding and bleeding after sexual intercourse may also occur. In addition, there are often lower urinary tract symptoms, such as urgency, frequency, and pain when urinating. Gynecological examination revealed cervical congestion, edema, and mucosal eversion, with purulent secretions flowing out of the cervical canal. The cervix was tender, brittle, and easily bleeding when touched.

3. Adnexitis: Adnexitis can be divided into acute and chronic. Acute adnexitis is accompanied by symptoms of abdominal pain and fever; chronic adnexitis is accompanied by symptoms of abdominal pain, increased leucorrhea, etc. Chronic adnexitis is one of the causes of female infertility.

2. What to do if you have inflammation

1. Get timely treatment. Women with gynecological inflammation should receive timely treatment, which mainly includes drug therapy, physical therapy and surgical treatment. Targeted treatment is carried out based on the examination results, pathogens, and drug sensitivity analysis.

2. Wear cotton underwear. Tight synthetic underwear will increase the temperature and humidity of the local vagina, giving mold an opportunity to take advantage. The comfortable cotton material can increase the ventilation of the lower body, which makes it less likely to breed bacteria.

3. Clean at appropriate times. You can choose some acidic gynecological cleaning disinfectants, disinfected sanitary pads, etc. at the right time, which can kill the bacteria left by improper cleaning. It is recommended to use it 1-2 times a week. Frequent use is not good as it can easily disrupt the acid-base balance of the vagina.

4. Change your underwear frequently. You should change into clean underwear every day. Of course, washing your underwear is also important. It is recommended to wash them separately by hand, which not only washes them cleanly but also prevents cross-infection of various bacteria.

5. Use proper contraception. The estrogen in birth control pills can promote fungal invasion. If you have recurring fungal vaginitis, try not to use contraceptive drugs. Condoms are the safest and best method of contraception for women.
