Medical abortion is a relatively convenient way to drain the baby, but it will harm the woman's body to a certain extent. Therefore, after medical abortion, it is recommended that women undergo an ultrasound examination so that problems can be discovered in time to avoid delays that may lead to worsening of the situation.

1. There is still a large amount of residue in the uterine cavity. First of all, you need to know that the main adverse reactions of medical abortion are prolonged bleeding time and heavy bleeding, which usually lasts about 10 days and rarely exceeds 15 days.

However, if the retroverted position is not excessive, pregnancy is still possible. In the B-ultrasound description, other aspects are normal, only a small amount of pelvic fluid is found in the pelvic cavity, which needs to be further clarified whether it is physiological or pathological.

Suggestions: If you do not have any symptoms of discomfort, especially no obvious pain in the waist and abdomen, you can have another B-ultrasound check 3-7 days after your period ends to see if there is any change in the effusion. If the effusion becomes less or disappears, it is considered physiological and there is no need to worry. However, if you usually have the above-mentioned discomfort symptoms, you may have pelvic inflammation.
