Women who know how to sleep are beautiful until old

Sleep is very important for everyone, and there is a saying that "a woman who knows how to sleep will stay beautiful until old", which shows that sleep is also good for women's appearance. If women want to maintain youthful skin, they should arrange their sleep time reasonably and not stay up late, especially for middle-aged women around 40 years old, the harm of staying up late will be greater. In this sense, beauty sleep makes sense.

1. Sleep

Li Yu of the Qing Dynasty once said, "The secret to health preservation is to put sleep first." Shakespeare once said, "Sleep is the source of all energy and a panacea for patients." The Medical Classic also says that "a woman who knows how to sleep will remain beautiful until old." But how much do we know about sleep besides “go to sleep when you’re sleepy”? The sleep we know is just a natural physiological need, which is far from health preservation.

A person can survive for 7 days without food or water, but if he does not sleep for a second, he can only survive for 4 days. This shows the importance and necessity of sleep to life. Don’t think that sleep is just a process of resting when you are tired. Take reasonable sleeping methods and measures to ensure high-quality sleep to eliminate fatigue, restore energy, promote health, beautify and prolong life. Specifically, it includes four aspects: adjustment before going to bed, do's and don'ts when sleeping, maintenance after waking up, and prevention and treatment of insomnia.

2. Adjust your diet before going to bed

Before going to bed, calm your emotions, quiet your mind, put aside all distractions, and create a good mood for sleep.

3 Take a walk before bed.

Wash your feet before going to bed (wash and rub your feet with warm water at about 40℃) and massage the Yongquan acupoint.

4. Sleep Dos and Don’ts

Do’s and don’ts for sleeping: appropriate bedding, appropriate sleeping time, correct sleeping posture, appropriate sleeping position, quiet sleeping environment, and it is better to sleep with your head exposed.

Avoid worrying or getting angry, avoid eating too much, being hungry, or drinking strong tea or coffee, avoid talking, avoid turning on the light when sleeping, avoid opening your mouth, avoid lying prone, supine, or covering your face, and avoid being exposed to the wind.

Avoid facing the stove.

5. Maintenance after waking up

Ironing the eyes, exercising the eyes, tapping the teeth, swallowing saliva, combing the hair, combing the face, massaging the face, beating the sky drum, and avoiding staying in bed.
