What causes sudden blood in urine in men?

The urine of a normal person should be light yellow. If a man suddenly has symptoms of blood in his urine, he should pay attention immediately. Generally, problems with urine indicate that there is a problem in the body. Sometimes blood in the urine is caused by urethral infection, and sometimes blood in the urine is caused by inflammation of the urinary system. In any case, the cause of blood in the urine should be checked first. Let’s take a look at what causes sudden blood in the urine in men.

Hematuria is considered to be caused by seminal vesiculitis, which is mainly caused by excessive fatigue, bacterial infection, and excessive sexual intercourse. There is no special method. The treatment can mainly be carried out from the following aspects. For anti-inflammatory treatment, you can use the second-generation cephalosporin drug Xilixin for anti-inflammatory treatment under the guidance of a doctor. After the symptoms disappear completely, you can continue to use the medication for 1 to 4 weeks to consolidate the therapeutic effect.

For local treatment, warm water (42%) can be used for sitz baths or hot compresses on the perineum. It can improve blood circulation in the perineum and help reduce inflammation. Symptomatic treatment mainly refers to the treatment of the symptom of blood in semen. You can take 1 mg of ethinyl estradiol and 5 mg of prednisone orally, 3 times a day. After taking the medicine continuously for 2-3 weeks, the symptom of blood in semen can disappear. You should rest in bed more often, keep your bowel movements regular, and avoid smoking, drinking, and eating irritating foods.

There are many reasons for hematuria. If hematuria is accompanied by long-term frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, it is more likely to be renal tuberculosis. If hematuria is accompanied by edema of the eyelids, face or whole body, increased blood pressure and fever, it may be acute nephritis; if hematuria is accompanied by severe frequent urination, urgency and pain when urinating, it is mostly acute cystitis; if urination is difficult and the urethra is not painful, but light red urine is seen with the naked eye or trace amounts of red blood cells are seen under a microscope, it is mostly prostatitis; hematuria is accompanied by symptoms of low back pain, and sometimes severe paroxysmal low back pain - renal colic, it may be kidney or ureteral stones.

Hematuria without obvious symptoms and pain may indicate urinary system tumors. Hematuria, low back pain, and body position and daily activities are obviously related. If the symptoms improve after bed rest but worsen with increased physical activity, then there is a greater possibility of renal ptosis. If hematuria is accompanied by bleeding in other parts of the body, it may be caused by a blood disease. Go to a regular hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment.
