Why do women feel discomfort in their urethra after using the toilet?

Compared with men, the structure of women's reproductive system is more complex, including the structure of the urethra, so it is more prone to some urethral diseases, such as urinary tract infection. Some women feel uncomfortable in the urethra after going to the toilet. The most common feeling is pain. This problem needs to be taken seriously. In addition to urinary tract infection, patients should also consider the following factors based on their own situation.

Why do women feel discomfort in their urethra after using the toilet?

The female urethra is relatively short and prone to infection, which recurs because of incomplete treatment. It is recommended to take levofloxacin tablets in combination with Sanjin tablets for treatment; then drink plenty of water every day, avoid sitting for long periods of time, and pay attention to vulvar hygiene. If it does not get better, see a urologist as soon as possible, and also pay attention to rule out the possibility of gynecological inflammation.

In this case, we should consider the possibility of inflammation of the urinary tract and urethritis. Women have short urethras and are prone to bacterial infections. Drink plenty of water to promote the excretion of bacteria from urine, keep the genitals clean and hygienic, wash frequently, and change underwear frequently. It is best to go to the hospital's gynecology department for routine examinations and symptomatic treatment. If there is inflammation, ofloxacin can be used for treatment.

Women experience pain in the urethra when urinating and feel like they want to urinate again! It is considered to be a urinary tract infection. Symptoms of urinary tract infection patients include: painful urination, frequent urination, urgency, sometimes accompanied by lower abdominal pain, hematuria, and severe cases may cause low back pain, fever, etc.

It may be a symptom caused by prostatitis.

Guidance:

If the condition is not serious, the current medications will be sufficient. It is recommended that you still eat a light diet, avoid alcohol and spicy foods, pay attention to self-care, and strengthen physical exercise.

In this case, it is highly likely that the condition is caused by prostatitis and urethral instillation is not required. Oral clarithromycin dispersible tablets and prostaglandin can be used for treatment. Pay attention to daily conditioning, drink plenty of water, urinate frequently, get enough rest, exercise properly, avoid catching cold, do not sit for long periods of time, do not ride a bicycle, do not hold urine, avoid excessive sexual activity and masturbation, eat less spicy and irritating foods, and smoke and drink less.

It may be urethritis. The general symptoms of urethritis include: 1. Burning pain in the urethra during urination, frequent urination, urgency, intermittent pain in the suprapubic area and perineum, and pain when pressing the urethra. 2. In the acute phase, the urethral opening is red and swollen, and there is urethral secretion, which is mucous at first and then turns into purulent. The urethral mucosa is diffusely congested and edematous, and sometimes ulcers form. 3. Red blood cells and white blood cells are found in urine test, and a few cases have visible hematuria. 4. After urethritis enters the chronic stage, the symptoms are alleviated, the urethral secretions are reduced, and they become a thin serous state, but there is a stinging sensation in the urethra or discomfort when urinating.
