Second, Hegu point, also known as tiger's mouth, is located at the midpoint of the radial side of the second metacarpal bone. In ancient times, Hegu acupoint was often used for abortion, and many acupuncture doctors used it to treat dystocia. At present, there is no scientific clinical trial in the medical community to prove that stimulating the Hegu point can induce labor. However, there is no doubt that massaging the Hegu point can indeed stimulate uterine contraction. Therefore, for safety reasons, pregnant mothers should not massage this area.
