TCM treatment of menstrual disorders

Prescription: 10 grams of pine nuts, 12 grams each of salvia miltiorrhiza and rehmannia glutinosa, 15 grams of Dipsacus asper, 10 grams each of Zezhi leaves, Rhizoma Cynoglossi, stir-fried Angelica sinensis, red and white peony roots, 15 grams each of Cnidium monnieri and raw Rubia cordifolia, 9 grams of roasted turtle shell, and 6 grams of safflower.

This prescription has the effects of nourishing the kidneys and calming the mind, promoting blood circulation and relieving menstruation. It is mainly used to treat amenorrhea, delayed menstruation, oligomenorrhea and other diseases.

Prescription: 12 grams of Uncaria rhynchophylla, 9 grams of fried Gardenia jasminoides, 10 grams of fried Cortex moutan, 12 grams each of red and white peony roots, 10 grams of scorched hawthorn, 10 grams of Aconiti lobata, 6 grams of fried Pollen sturgeon (wrapped and decocted), 12 grams of fried Dipsacus asper, 10 grams of Poria, 5 grams of fried Bupleurum chinense, and 15 grams of Leonurus japonicus.

Efficacy: This prescription has the effects of clearing the liver, relieving depression, removing blood stasis and regulating menstruation. It is mainly used to treat early menstruation, excessive menstrual flow, premenstrual breast pain, and excessive blood clots during menstruation. This prescription must be taken during menstruation.

3. Biochemical honey cream

Ingredients: 30g each of Angelica sinensis and Motherwort, 10g each of Chuanxiong, peach kernel, licorice and moutan bark, 5g of roasted ginger, and 50ml of white honey.

Preparation method: Add 500 ml of water to the first seven ingredients, boil and extract 300 ml, remove the residue, and add white honey to make a paste.

Usage: Take 30 ml each time, 3 times a day.

Function: Promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, warm the meridians and regulate menstruation. It is suitable for oligomenorrhea caused by blood stasis, purple-black color, blood clots, lower abdominal distension and pain that refuses to be pressed, normal or purple tongue, or with petechiae, and thin, stringy and astringent pulse.

Symptoms include early or late menstruation, more or less menstrual flow, irregular menstruation, accompanied by pain and distension in the chest, flanks, breasts, and lower abdomen, belching, loss of appetite, and depression. Jiawei Xiaoyao Pills can be used for treatment.

Symptoms include early or late menstruation, scanty and light-colored menstruation, accompanied by dizziness, tinnitus, sore waist and weak legs, heel pain, and frequent urination at night. The treatment should be based on Wu Ji Bai Feng Wan combined with Liu Wei Di Huang Wan.

Symptoms include irregular and light-colored menstruation, accompanied by fatigue, palpitations, insomnia, poor appetite, loose stools, and a pale tongue. Ginseng Guipi Pills are suitable for treatment.
