Menstruation is a very normal physiological phenomenon for women. During menstruation, a woman's body is also very important and critical. If blood clots or other abnormal phenomena occur during menstruation, it must be a gynecological inflammation problem, which requires timely examination and treatment. However, some blood that appears during menstruation may be like stringy leucorrhea. This is also an uncommon situation. So what happens if the blood during menstruation looks like stringy leucorrhea? (1) In addition to blood, blood clots, and endometrial fragments, menstruation also contains cervical mucus and vaginal exfoliated epithelium. So if you see stringy leucorrhea in your menstrual blood, this is cervical mucus. It is normal and there is no need to worry. If ectopicity occurs, it is considered to be caused by inflammation and a gynecological examination is recommended. The menstrual volume is generally between 20-80 ml and lasts for 2-7 days. A menstrual cycle of 28-32 days is normal. It is also normal if it is earlier or later than 7 days. The leucorrhea is milky white, has no odor, and there is no vulvar itching. All of these are normal and do not require treatment. Women of childbearing age all have leucorrhea. (2) There is nothing wrong with having vaginal discharge after menstruation, but if the vaginal discharge is too thick, there is indeed a problem. If there is also itching and pain, then you need to have the vaginal discharge checked to see if there is a problem. Usually, the abnormality is caused by a gynecological disease. "Leucorrhea" is actually cervical mucus. The cervix is slightly open during menstruation, and the mucus comes from the glands in the cervical canal. When the menstrual blood flow is heavy, the blood dilutes the mucus and the mucus is almost invisible. When the flow is not very large, mucus and menstrual blood each account for a certain proportion. Generally speaking, women's secretions will increase during ovulation, and transparent, stringy leucorrhea will appear. The leucorrhea can be very long and not easy to break. It is clear, transparent, elastic, and egg white-like. (3) There are many reasons for abnormal menstruation, such as endocrine disorders, uterine diseases, gynecological inflammation, mood swings, drug effects, environmental changes, overwork and excessive mental stress, etc. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination in time to identify the cause so that you can follow the doctor's advice and receive targeted treatment as soon as possible. (4) As long as there is no vulvar itching or leucorrhea with an unpleasant odor, this condition is normal and does not require medication. During menstruation, you need to avoid eating spicy and irritating foods, avoid eating raw and cold foods, do not touch cold water, and do not drink cold drinks to avoid dysmenorrhea. Do not do strenuous exercise during menstruation. Sexual intercourse and bathing are prohibited during menstruation. |
