Endometrial Cancer Pictures

Endometrial cancer is clinically divided into estrogen-related type (related to excess estrogen in the body) and estrogen-independent type. The most common age group is 58-61 years old, accounting for 20%-30% of female reproductive system cancers.

The main symptoms of endometrial cancer are vaginal bleeding; watery or strong fluid discharge from the vagina, which may have a strong odor if combined with infection; and pain symptoms in the late stage.

Who is at high risk of endometrial cancer?

People with irregular menstruation, whose estrogen and oestrogen cannot be well matched and they do not ovulate. In this case, the excess estrogen will stimulate the endometrium and cause abnormal growth of endometrial cancer cells;

People with obesity, hypertension, and diabetes;

Women who have their first menstruation early (before the age of 11) and menopause late (after the age of 52) may have higher levels of estrogen than the average person; women who are infertile or who are fertile but have not had any, have a higher incidence of the disease than the general population;

In addition, multiple uterine and ovarian tumors, genetic factors, excessive use of exogenous estrogen supplementation and improper use of specific methods will also increase the incidence of endometrial cancer.

How to diagnose endometrial cancer at an early stage?

The first method is to observe whether abnormal bleeding occurs after menopause. The second method is B-ultrasound examination, which can determine the thickness of the uterine wall, whether there are abnormal echoes or masses in the uterine cavity, etc., to help decide whether to conduct further screening. The third is hysteroscopic surgery. The fourth is MRI and CT, which can determine whether endometrial cancer has extrauterine metastasis and whether there is cancer metastasis.

How to prevent it in daily life?

First, drinking green tea can enhance the body's antioxidant capacity; secondly, it can help lose weight appropriately, especially for menopausal women. Adipose tissue is another source of estrogen. If you are too overweight, your body will have more estrogen than normal women.

In addition, women should be cautious when using hormone replacement therapy during menopause and postmenopause. If estrogen is not properly matched with oestrogen, it may cause endometrial cancer cells to be overstimulated and grow abnormally.

Regular gynecological examinations can help uncover the truth about cancer and allow for early detection and treatment. Key subjects with familial factors should be closely followed up and tested.
