Can you still have a baby after a surgical incision pregnancy?

In daily life, many women will encounter the problem of incisional pregnancy. Some people don’t know much about incisional pregnancy and think that women with incisional pregnancy cannot have children. In fact, this view is wrong. Women with incisional pregnancy can have children. Women with incisional pregnancy must be careful during pregnancy, not to be too tired, and must have timely prenatal examinations and timely treatment if problems are found, otherwise there will be certain risks.

1. The sign of incisional pregnancy is that it will cause great harm

One is that it occurs in the early stages of pregnancy, when the placenta implants at the scar of the previous cesarean section, which is commonly known as incisional pregnancy. Once discovered, the pregnancy must be terminated. The second situation is that the incisional pregnancy is not terminated in time, and the embryo grows larger and larger, passing through the scar and directly causing uterine rupture. Another situation occurs in the late pregnancy, often after 28 weeks, when the placenta moves to the scar and penetrates deeply into the uterus. This is medically known as pernicious placenta previa. This situation is very dangerous and difficult to deal with, and often results in hysterectomy and maternal death.

Pathogenesis

The pathogenesis is still unclear. It may be related to the rapid movement of the fertilized egg and the lack of endometrial stromal decidua caused by cesarean section; the implantation of the fertilized egg and the occurrence of basal decidua defects; the direct invasion of trophoblastic cells into the myometrium and continuous growth, the adhesion of villi to the myometrium, implantation and even penetration of the uterine wall. It is generally believed that the cause of this disease is endometrial damage caused by various surgical operations, such as curettage, cesarean section, myomectomy, metroplasty, hysteroscopy and even manual placental removal.

Solutions for the situation when the baby is not born yet when the due date comes:

Women who are due to give birth are looking forward to the birth of their baby every day, so they will be particularly nervous around the due date and pay special attention to their physical condition. But not all babies are born on the due date. The chances of being born on the due date are less than 50%. Some babies are born a few days earlier, while others are born a few days later. So what should I do if the baby hasn't been born yet by the due date?

If there are no signs of delivery when the due date arrives, you should go to the hospital for a check-up in time. First, we need to check the degree of aging of the placenta. If it is a secondary placenta, it means that the baby is still growing because the placenta has not aged. It also depends on the turbidity of the amniotic fluid. If the amniotic fluid is still clear, then there is no need to be nervous. If the placenta is found to be at stage three and aging after a check-up at the due date, measures should be taken to induce labor. Because the placenta will supply much less nutrition to the baby after aging, so artificial induction of labor is necessary in this case. If the amniotic fluid appears turbid, labor should be induced or surgical delivery should be performed, because turbid amniotic fluid can cause harm to the baby's body. The chance of giving birth after the due date is also relatively high, because many babies are born after the due date. Since women have irregular ejaculation times, if ovulation is late, it is likely that the baby will be born after the due date. Some babies give birth a few days after the due date, while others may even give birth a week or two after the due date.

What should I do if the baby hasn't been born yet when the due date comes? You must have a detailed check-up when the due date comes to make sure there is no abnormality in your body. You can wait a few days before doing another check-up. Because the due date is only an approximate date of birth for the baby and is not very accurate, there is no need to worry about giving birth on the due date.
