Because women's hormones change during menstruation, their mood becomes bad and they become nervous, which may cause anorectal neurosis, pudendal nerve syndrome, sciatica and other problems, which will be reflected to the anus and cause anal pain.

3. External stimulation during menstruation can also cause anal pain. For example, not paying attention to diet during menstruation, eating a lot of spicy and irritating food, or suffering from external injuries can all cause anal pain. Therefore, the diet during menstruation should be light, and it is better to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

4. Anal diseases can also cause anal pain during menstruation, such as incarcerated hemorrhoids, inflammatory external hemorrhoids, thrombosed external hemorrhoids, anal fissures, anal fistulas, etc. These anal diseases are the causes of anal pain.

The above points are some common causes of anal pain during menstruation, but not all the causes. For example, constipation during menstruation may also cause anal pain.
