Girl has vaginal discharge

It is normal for girls to have secretions in their private parts. No matter how old they are, the vagina will produce secretions to inhibit bacteria. This secretion is generally called leucorrhea, and there are many types of leucorrhea. Normal vaginal discharge is usually colorless and odorless, but some people's vaginal discharge may appear in other colors. If you accidentally get infected with bacteria, it may cause inflammation, most of which are yellow.

In real life, many unmarried girls often have white spots on their genitals. Since they don’t have much knowledge about gynecology, many girls are particularly worried. This white discharge from a girl's lower body is the discharge from the vagina, which is called leucorrhea in medical terms. If the amount of white discharge is small, white in color, and has no odor, there is no need to worry too much. However, if the amount of leucorrhea is large and has a distinct fishy odor, it is very likely that you have a gynecological disease.

When a baby girl is in the mother's womb, the vaginal epithelium increases due to the influence of the mother's estrogen. After birth, this influence suddenly stops, and the baby's body has not yet been affected by the cyclical secretion. The hyperplastic vaginal epithelium falls off and is discharged with the secretions, forming the so-called leucorrhea. Similarly, the endometrium falls off and is discharged, resulting in vaginal bleeding. These are all normal physiological phenomena and do not require treatment. Keep the vulva clean and the bleeding will disappear naturally after 2 to 3 days.

Generally speaking, it is very normal for adult girls to have white secretions in their genitals. After women reach adulthood, their estrogen levels will gradually increase. Under the stimulation of estrogen, a large amount of vaginal secretions will appear. In fact, this secretion is leucorrhea. But for underage girls, it is not normal if there is white secretion in the genitals. You should take your child to a regular hospital for examination in time, such as urine test and skin test. Examination can help determine whether the child has a bacterial infection or inflammation.

If the white secretions from the lower body are caused by bacteria and inflammation, then it should be treated with medication in time. Only in this way can the child's body recover as soon as possible. In daily life, we must pay more attention to keeping the child's vulva hygienic and clean. Mothers should teach their children the correct way to wipe their buttocks. After pooping, they should wipe it from front to back with soft toilet paper, and they should also use warm water to help their children clean their vulva every day. If the condition is more serious, it should be cleaned with medicine. Only in this way can the disease be effectively cured.
