What precautions should women take after steaming?

Compared with men, women nowadays prefer sweat steaming. In particular, many women now have varying degrees of uterine cold and will have obvious symptoms of dysmenorrhea during menstruation. This group of people can do sweat steaming, which can expel the cold in the body and play the role of warming and activating blood circulation. Therefore, the therapeutic effect is very outstanding. So what should women pay attention to after sweat steaming?

Precautions for women after steaming:

1. Note before steaming: bathing and makeup removal before steaming

Before steaming, you must take a shower and remove makeup. Because steaming can enlarge the pores through high temperature, cleaning and removing the dirt on the skin surface before steaming is to avoid clogging the pores with unclean substances, which is not conducive to the discharge of toxins from the body. Therefore, you should take a shower before steaming, especially women who wear makeup must wash off the cosmetics on the skin surface, which is more beneficial to skin beauty.

However, it is best not to steam right after taking a shower. You should wait at least 1 hour before steaming to avoid dizziness or fainting.

2. Note before steaming: Do not wash your hair before steaming

Although you need to take a shower before steaming, you cannot wash your hair before steaming. Because steaming causes the pores to expand, washing your hair before steaming can easily cause hair loss and headaches. Even if you want to wash your hair, you should do it the day before the steam session, or choose to wash your hair at least 3 hours after the steam session.

3. Note before steaming: Do not eat too much or too fast before steaming

Since sweat steaming consumes a lot of energy, it is best to replenish some food before sweat steaming, and try to avoid sweat steaming on an empty stomach to prevent fainting, collapse, etc. However, do not steam when you are too full. It is recommended to steam at least 1 hour after a meal.

Because just after a meal, the stomach is filled with a large amount of blood to help digestion and peristalsis, and when sweating, the blood vessels throughout the body expand, the sweat pores open, the blood supply to the stomach is relatively reduced, and the stomach's digestive function is relatively weakened. Food stays in the stomach too long. Frequent occurrence of this will cause insufficient gastric motility and lead to functional indigestion.

4. Pay attention before steaming: Determine whether it is appropriate to steam before steaming

Before preparing for a steam bath, make sure you are ready for one. For example, women should not steam during their menstrual period. Some people who are not feeling well, are sick, or feel dizzy are advised not to steam for the time being. It is best to go for sweat steaming when the body is in a relatively good condition to avoid adverse conditions such as fainting.

In addition, the elderly should not do sweat steaming because they are originally weak. If they sweat too much, electrolyte imbalance will occur, which can be life-threatening in severe cases. Children and people with heart disease should not sweat steam. People with diseases such as high blood pressure should not sweat steam.

5. Note before steaming: It is best to drink more warm water before steaming

Sweating is usually accompanied by a large amount of sweat discharge, so the body loses water very quickly. Therefore, in order to avoid symptoms such as dehydration during sweat steaming, it is recommended to drink more warm water before sweat steaming, but not cold water. Moreover, drinking more water before sweat steaming can speed up the excretion of metabolic waste and toxins in the body, making the beauty and slimming effects of sweat steaming better.

6. Note before steaming: Do not drink a lot of alcohol before steaming

Drinking can be divided into drinking a lot and drinking a little. Drinking a small amount of alcohol can still cause sweating. However, people who drink a lot of alcohol or are drunk should not sweat steam. Because heavy drinkers have more alcohol in their bodies and faster blood circulation, sweating in a steam energy room will speed up the body's blood circulation and may lead to alcohol poisoning.

7. Note before steaming: It is best to defecate before steaming

It is best to go to the toilet and defecate before sweating, and avoid going in and out of the toilet during sweating. Of course, if you still feel the urge to urinate or defecate during the sweat steaming process, don't hold it in. You can go to the toilet in the lounge.
