Latent period of condyloma acuminatum

Latent period of condyloma acuminatum

Genital warts are a type of disease that grows in the private parts and is caused by a viral infection due to people not paying attention to their private hygiene. Genital warts have a certain incubation period. During this period, it will not have any special symptoms and people will not be aware of its existence. Therefore, everyone must understand the manifestations of the incubation period of condyloma acuminatum in advance, so as to effectively prevent the occurrence of condyloma acuminatum.

It takes some time from the time HPV infects human skin and mucous membranes to the time when genital warts lesions appear. This period of time is called the incubation period of genital warts. The length of the incubation period of genital warts varies from person to person. Some people have a short incubation period, while others have a longer incubation period. Usually, lesions appear in reproductive tract cells three months after HPV infection, while in other parts of the body generally between 3 weeks and 8 months after infection. Some observations suggest that the incubation period of genital warts cannot be estimated because some lesions appear several years after HPV infection. According to a survey, the incubation period of genital warts is 3 weeks to 8 months, with an average of 3 months. Most clinical observations report that the incubation period of genital warts is generally about 3 months, with the shortest incubation period being 3 to 4 weeks and the longest being about 8 to 12 months. Some scholars believe that infants infected with HPV during pregnancy are unlikely to have genital warts until the age of 2 years old, but 57% of children are diagnosed with laryngeal papilloma at the age of 2 years. The author has seen a case in which the female sexual partner of a male patient with genital warts developed genital warts at the vaginal opening 2 weeks after having sexual intercourse with him. Another male patient in the author's case developed the disease one and a half years after having sexual intercourse with a female patient with genital warts.

In addition, among the author's cases of genital warts, the latent period of genital warts could be clearly identified in 476 cases, including 243 males and 233 females. Among males, 8 cases had an incubation period of 1 month, 58 cases had 2 months, 68 cases had 3 months, 4 cases had 4 months, 12 cases had 5 months, 17 cases had 6 months, 8 cases had 7 months, 12 cases had 12 months, and 1 case had 1 year and 3 months; among females, 24 cases had an incubation period of 1 month, 62 cases had 2 months, 65 cases had 3 months, 49 cases had 4 months, 15 cases had 5 months, 8 cases had 6 months, 3 cases had 7 months, 2 cases had 8 months, 1 case had 9 months, 1 case had 16 months, 2 cases had 11 months, and 1 case had 12 months. The above survey results further confirmed that the incubation period of genital warts is mostly 2 to 4 months, accounting for 73.380%. The above results also show that the incubation period is different between men and women, such as the incubation period of women is generally shorter, and the incubation period of men is longer than that of women. The authors also observed that the incubation period of genital warts in men and women is significantly related to the patient's local environment. For example, the incubation period of genital warts is short in those with poor local hygiene, humidity, and a lot of secretions, and vice versa.

Precautions

edit

1. Improve nutrition, quit smoking and avoid drinking.

2. Appropriately add a small amount of lean meat and other protein-rich foods. Dishes should avoid being too salty, and should be steamed or boiled as much as possible instead of fried, stir-fried or stewed. Avoid overeating, drinking, and high-fat, spicy foods.

3. The diet should be light and tasty. Fresh vegetables such as green vegetables, cabbage, radish, carrots, tomatoes, etc. can provide a variety of vitamins and inorganic salts, which are beneficial to the repair of the body's metabolic function. Soy products contain high-quality protein, which can replenish the tissue protein lost by the body due to inflammation.
