Black discharge above underwear

Black discharge above underwear

The secretions from a woman's body often get on her underwear. Generally speaking, colorless or white secretions are normal and are a healthy condition of leucorrhea. However, some women have black secretions above their underwear. If the amount is not large and they have no other discomfort symptoms, they should consider that it is caused by ovulation bleeding. Let’s have a comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon of ovulation bleeding.

The black discharge on the underwear should be a very small amount of bleeding, without any other discomfort.

What is ovulation bleeding?

Many female friends may experience ovulation bleeding. Generally, the amount of bleeding is very small, and many people don't even notice it at all. However, some people will have obvious bleeding symptoms, and the severity cannot be generalized.

Ovulation bleeding generally lasts for 2-3 days, which is something every woman may experience, so don't worry. If it is clean within 2-3 days, there is no problem. However, if the leucorrhea is accompanied by blood and the amount of bleeding is heavy after more than 7 days, it needs to be taken seriously and timely treatment is required if necessary.

Is ovulation bleeding normal?

Ovulation is one of the important physiological periods for women. Some women will experience bleeding during ovulation and become very worried and anxious. Is ovulation bleeding normal? Is the anxiety of these female friends necessary? The criteria for judging whether ovulation bleeding is normal or not are the amount of blood discharged and other accompanying symptoms. Ovulation bleeding is mainly caused by withdrawal bleeding due to the decrease of estrogen. Under normal circumstances, this bleeding is very short, about 1 to 2 hours, and red blood cells can only be seen in the leucorrhea with the help of a microscope. There is no bleeding that can be seen with the naked eye. This is not a pathological phenomenon and is normal.

If vaginal bleeding is visible to the naked eye, it may last for several hours, or 3 to 5 days, but rarely for more than 7 days. In severe cases, it may continue to occur until the next menstrual period. This requires you to pay attention to take care of your body or seek medical attention in time. Some people also experience ovulation bleeding, but the amount of bleeding is very small, and it stops with a few drops, or there is blood in the vagina, which rarely reaches the amount of menstruation under normal circumstances. Ovulation bleeding may be accompanied by bloating and discomfort in one side of the lower abdomen, dull pain, or obvious pain, which may even involve the waist and inner thigh. Symptoms may occur continuously every month or every other month. For some people, they occur for several months each year, while for others, they only experience this phenomenon once in their lifetime.

In general, if ovulation bleeding lasts less than 7 days, is not continuous, and is not accompanied by pain as severe as dysmenorrhea, it is basically normal. In severe cases, there may be bleeding until the next menstrual period. This situation should be treated. Therefore, under normal circumstances, the amount of bleeding during ovulation is very small, has no effect on the body, can mostly heal on its own, and does not affect health and fertility, so no treatment is needed. However, if the amount of bleeding is heavy and lasts for a long time, it can be regarded as a phenomenon of irregular menstruation and you need to seek medical treatment.
