Dimple Plasty

Dimple Plasty

It seems that beauty always has a pair of beautiful dimples, and when she smiles, she is as gentle as a flower. It is true that many women in life wish to have a pair of beautiful dimples, but not everyone is born with a pair of beautiful dimples. We say that what is deficient in nature can be made up for by acquired efforts. It is not terrible to not have dimples. In fact, there are many ways in life to make those who are born without dimples have dimples. The following is a sharing of dimpleplasty techniques.

Dimpleplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure that uses the dermis and zygomatic muscle to artificially form dimples in specific areas. The principle of dimple creation surgery is to artificially adhere the skin and muscles at the dimple site. Dimples are a symbol of female beauty, so naturally many women would like to have their dimples recreated to add to their charm. With the development of cosmetic surgery, the technology of dimple formation has become very mature, and the formed dimples are so realistic that they are hard to be mistaken for real ones.

Common methods

There are many methods for dimple formation and they are all relatively simple. They are usually performed inside the mouth, so no skin scars will be left. There are three commonly used methods for dimple formation: buried suture method, suture method, and incision buried suture method. Either way, you can create charming dimples when you smile.

Suture

The suture method of dimple formation, also known as the suture method, uses silk thread to suture directly at the location of the dimple on the cheek to connect the muscle and dermis to form a dimple. The suture method is simple and easy to perform, and does not require surgical incision, but the effect is uncertain and the dimples formed are easy to disappear.

Import method

The introduction method is simpler and faster, and a pair of dimples can usually be completed in just a few minutes, but the long-term effect is uncertain.

Incisional method

The incision method is to make a 2 cm long vertical incision on the buccal mucosa in the oral cavity, separate the mucosa and muscle, cut off a small amount of muscle and fat tissue, suture part of the muscle and dermis with a stitch in the incision, form a shallow depression on the corresponding skin, and then suture the mucosa. This operation is complicated, but the effect is certain and it is the most commonly used method.

Ligation

The subcutaneous ligation method is to draw a 3-5 mm short line at a fixed point on the face, and make a 3 mm arc-shaped small incision on the oral mucosa corresponding to the fixed point, with the long axis of the incision parallel to the nasolabial groove. Insert the straight needle with No. 5 silk thread into the small incision on the buccal mucosa from the upper end, pass through the upper end of the fixed point line on the cheek skin, then pass through the same point, and then insert the skin for the second time from the second exit point, and finally pass through the lower end of the small incision on the buccal mucosa. Pull the needle and thread to create a depression at a fixed point on the cheek skin, slowly apply force, tie a knot and tighten it, pay attention to the size, depth, and shape of the artificial dimple, and make appropriate adjustments until you are satisfied.

In addition, experts kindly remind you that subcutaneous ligation is not suitable for patients with more cheek fat, and such patients require intraoral incision.

Intraoral incision

Make a small horizontal incision of 8mm in the oral mucosa at the corresponding position of the mouth point, separate the small incision to expose the buccal muscle fibers, clamp and cut off the muscle fibers, suture the buccal mucosa and the subcutaneous dermis at the fixed point of the cheek, and you can see the appearance of the artificial dimple after formation.

Contraindications

1. Patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, etc. are not suitable for dimple shaping surgery;

2. Patients with infectious diseases are not suitable for dimple shaping surgery;

3. Patients with blood diseases and allergies are not suitable for dimple shaping surgery;

4. Patients with a history of scar hyperplasia are not suitable for dimple shaping surgery; not everyone is suitable for dimple shaping surgery

Dimples are caused by the presence of dot-like fibrous bands between the fascia of the zygomatic muscle and the subdermis at the outer side of the corner of the mouth. Dimples can be divided into two types: natural and artificial. Natural dimples can be divided into shallow disc shape, vertical oval shape, narrow long groove shape, and cone-shaped dot shape. Usually the most beautiful shape is the cone-shaped dot, followed by the shallow disc shape. For people with long and thin faces, dimples are mostly narrow and long groove-shaped, which gives the feeling of increased facial wrinkles. Therefore, they are not beautiful for people with long faces, and it is not advisable to create artificial dimples to avoid making things worse.
